Fixing what got messed up

[00:00:00]Well, we're into the following day.

[00:00:02]We're filling with water. We're sharpening knives. And we want to get some primer and some paint on this roll stand. So, what I have here is this bar that will set in.

[00:00:18]We can hook it up to our water spet.

[00:00:40]Now we'll just go ahead and turn it on and spray spray some water in there while this is finishing up the sharpening process.

[00:00:55]Turn the dial down some. I only need about that much.

[00:01:00]So, I'll show you what this looks like.

[00:01:26]Uh down on zero. It's barely shown any pressure. Zero might not be enough.

[00:01:52]And that air from the knives will kind of blow some of that water back through there, too.

[00:02:01]The only problem is is I don't have a switch out here to uh shut that off. And I I'm halfass thinking about putting a proximity switch in.

[00:02:18]So that'll turn on and off when the head goes up and down. But I could put my wire plug out here too and use that to uh turn the system on and off for when we're sharpening knives.

[00:02:35]So, oh well, let's turn it on towards the tail end.

[00:02:44]Let it do its thing. And then when I go to sharp set the shear bar, I can turn it off and take that bar off of there.

[00:02:59]We ended up turning a little too short yesterday and we bent this pitch.

[00:03:05]So, we're going to try taking that off here in a little while.

[00:03:09]See if we can't straighten it. But, um, yeah. So, we're going to try that.

[00:03:29]And then there's a pin in the back here that's got some little brake style controller thing in it of some kind, which that doesn't work.

[00:03:40]So, we'll uh get this out of there and see if we can't uh straighten it.

[00:17:57]Not good. Um, what I want to do is get a piece of rectangle tubing and make a different hitch face for the front so I can put a regular panel hook on there like we have on the fuel trailer and so on. So, I'm going to get this spun around and uh get hooked onto the head.
