Upgrades planned for Grantley Adams International Airport

[00:00:00]Work should commence next month on expansion of the parking apron at the Grantley Adams International Airport. We currently have 23 parking positions there. Based on the volume and the number of flights that are coming into Barbados, it is in our best interest at this point in time that we seek to increase the number of parking parking spaces at the Grantley Adams International Airport. Therefore, we'll be adding additional three gates. We have 23. We'll be moving to 26. As I indicated, work will commence next month and by the end of November we should complete all of the cutting of the rock and all the concrete works that are necessary so that when those jets land in Barbados, they won't be compromised and they won't have any construction going on within that area.
