Rockets & Space bolster markets into the weekend. SAI-o-nara! 12Jun26

[00:00:13]It is June 12th today, 2026. It is also Friday. So we're heading into the weekend.

[00:00:20]At this point in time, looks like an awful lot of enthusiasm coming off of a couple of things mainly. First off, uh what is going on in Iran or rather what has slowed down and the SpaceX IPO. We'll talk about both of these.

[00:00:36]So as always, let's get started with what's going on behind these markets.

[00:00:42]Fear & Greed Meter as of yesterday still in fear territory. However, it has come up off of the extreme fear. So heading back towards greed and very definitely going to head more in that direction after today. So stocks are pointing toward green open. And they've got a lot of strength behind them, in particular if it's anything to do with rockets, space, internet, and again, more rockets. So very interesting dynamic there. Artificial intelligence coming forward.

[00:01:16]Anthropic is going to close in with new IPO coming soon. So with all of this, we've got cryptocurrencies also coming back up. The only things we see are dropping are oil and this is on the peace that is happening with Iran. Now, I say that, is it happening? I don't know. Are we having peace? Are we not having peace? Are we bombing them? And you have to wait and hear the headlines just like I do. Nobody really knows. So we'll see what comes of it, but at the moment, oil is dropping. 10-year yield also dropping and relative strength of the dollar. So this is giving a little bit of room for stocks, of course, to run. Gold and silver precious metals, also gaining a bit on these. So, looks like happy days are here again. We'll see. So, market driver this morning, all of those rockets and the stock market market going boom.

[00:02:11]The only numbers we're really getting is the University of Michigan preliminary consumer survey.

[00:02:18]So, with all of this said, there's a lot going on.

[00:02:22]But, at the same time, there's not going to be anything else as this is all what's covered. For what's going on in the background, we've still got the shift happening in the very basics of what will be the currency going forward, but it's going to take a bit more time.

[00:02:39]Now, I picked up this headline. Now, this was from, I believe, yesterday. So, it was before they declared this latest edition of peace this morning.

[00:02:50]But, Iran threatening Elon Musk's companies in the Middle East, according to Iranian state media. And I just don't know that that is the wisest thing to do, to be threatening a man with a company that's got all of the Starlink, all of the intelligence, the artificial intelligence, all of the robots, controls all of the vehicles around you, and has rockets to boot.

[00:03:15]Doesn't make sense to me. At any rate, we're heading into Friday. Everything's crazy, so don't expect a whole lot coming out of here. I will see you all Monday.
