I hate the Knicks. But I hate price gouging more

I really I ain't even know if I was going to do this over here or in the barbershop, but I guess this is more of a uh Uh, I mean, it it is a sports thing, but it it speaks to a bigger issue than than just sports in a vacuum, right? Because this is a Ticketmaster thing. This is a you know [ __ ] is being priced out of being able to live, dog. And that and that's just so disheartening, just so it it's just you know sign of the times, right? It's it's just indicative, you feel me, of the effed up state of the world that we live in now, right? Where you got all these [ __ ] like I said I got Knicks fans, you feel me, in my family, right? I know [ __ ] you feel me, who was riding hard for the Knicks who quite literally were not alive the last time that New York was in the finals, right? That's crazy. And you know they're not going to be able to see, you know, the [ __ ] live. They're not going to be able to see the [ __ ] in person, not because of other Knicks fans, but you feel me, because of some transplants from, you know, [ __ ] Kansas or some [ __ ] You know what I'm saying? Some [ __ ] that, you know, just moved to the city 5 years ago, don't got no roots in the city whatsoever. That that's the thing.

That was a that you know, moonlights as a you know, rave DJ or some [ __ ] that got some money from their parents trust fund and now they got an apartment in Harlem and done priced out all the black folks, you feel me, that was living there. You get what I'm saying? Like that's that's the That's why I hate New York.

[00:02:09]It's a city full of It's a city full of transplant. All the the folk that's really from New York, for real, well Well, maybe not all, but the vast majority, like my my New York family, they their roots is in Crown Heights and Flatbush.

The effing projects, the the like the the hood hood, for real, 30 years ago. And they can't afford to live there no more, cuz ain't nothing but a bunch of [ __ ] Orange Theory's and dog walkers and [ __ ] So, I I get on here to say this, right? It's that the thing that irks me and it really it I'm not going to lie, every time I watch a Knicks game and, you know, they got to show the celebrity row, right? And there's a it it pisses me off to a certain degree. Not Spike, necessarily. Not, you know, Fat Joe, necessarily. Not, you know, these real, you know, New York [ __ ] for real.

And I'm not going to hold you, because it's indicative Excuse me. It's indicative, you feel me, of how much this [ __ ] It's like the Super Bowl. The [ __ ] is not for fans anymore. It It hasn't been for fans for God knows how long. You want to know who buying up all these tickets? You want to know why nosebleeds are eight [ __ ] thousand dollars a pop? It's because it's [ __ ] that work on Wall Street, right? It's [ __ ] you feel me, that work on you you know, these finance bro again, these transplant finance bros.

Even though the Shah of Iran don't exist. Y'all Y'all know what I'm talking about. They're buying up these tickets to try and wine and dine dignitaries and whatever and whatnot.

[00:04:04]And that's what it is. It's a It's a It's It's a high-priced business meeting {slash} networking event {slash} photo op for folk who could not give less of a [ __ ] about basketball. And that's the thing that pisses me off about it, right? I'm pissed off for y'all. I don't even like Like again, [ __ ] I'm a Sixers fan, born and bred. I don't like y'all. I don't like nothing about the Knicks. I don't like nothing about New York. I don't like nothing about the New York Knicks. You dig what I'm saying? But I feel bad for y'all cuz it's a It's It's It's such a effing travesty.

The Captain Comb Over over here now basically said basically get on the the It's so wild because that was such an easy dub that Trump could have got for himself in the midst of being so historically unpopular. That was such an easy dub he could have got for himself.

[00:06:33]You know what I'm saying? You going to listen to that album, it's going to make you feel some feelings, and then you going to get up, you going to have to go to work the next day. Don't change nothing about your life, but in that moment it made you feel feelings. It made you feel something. So I get so aggravated with these people that want to downplay, you feel me, the role that sports plays in some people's lives. You dig what I'm saying?

[00:07:21]And now you can't even do it in person because again some rich [ __ ] done convinced his boss that we need we should buy up all these tickets so that, you know, we can take uh you know, this big shark Yeah, just like like gambling, you know what I'm saying? Just the way that, you know, Vegas don't give a [ __ ] about, you know, the common man no more that we trying to entice all of these whale bettors to Vegas to spend up their money. That's basically what it is is that you know let's invite a bunch of rich [ __ ] convince their boss to say let's buy up all these tickets so that we can you know wine and dine a bunch of other rich [ __ ] You feel me? So that we can all you know make more money off of this you know penny stock or whatever the [ __ ] though. So I just wanted to get on here and rant with y'all about that. I feel for y'all Knicks fans. I really do because this [ __ ] is in effing sane. So there you have it. Deuces.
