TB treatment can be obtained at any good hospital near you, not just specialized TB hospitals, and recovery timelines vary for each patient; persistent pain after treatment requires medical consultation, and TB is an airborne disease that can affect anyone regardless of socioeconomic status, with risk factors including poor nutrition, low immunity, and crowded living conditions.

TB treatment related Questions Answered| Tuberculosis Q &A| Colours of life.
Added:Hi everyone, welcome to Colors of Life. I hope you all are well. I am fine too.
In this video, you will get answers to all your TB related questions.
So today we will talk about whatever questions you have asked in the comments regarding TB treatment.
And if you are new here hi my name is Aarti.
Here I make health related videos related to tuberculosis treatment.
Because I'm a brain spine and lungs TV survivor. So whatever I have experienced during my treatment, I share the same things. I am not a medical professional. So if you new here, please consider subscribing this channel. And if you know any TB patient, then definitely share this video with them.
Now let us look at the questions. The first question is, please tell me the hospital name, location and budget. So, this one comes up a lot. I have taken my treatment at St. John's Medical College and Hospital, Bengaluru. I was diagnosed with TB at Aster RV Hospital, Bor. There are private hospitals in both these bores.
But it is not necessary that you have to come here for your treatment. Every time someone asks me, I say that I have had a good experience here. I got cured right here. This does not mean that you have to travel from anywhere to come here. There are good hospitals in every city in India.
So, whichever good hospital is near you, whichever is a little bigger hospital, whichever is a good hospital, you can get your treatment done there. And as far as the budget is concerned, you cannot tell us the budget in any hospital you go to because it depends on the condition of the patient. How many tests do you have to do? What tests are done? The kind of treatment you receive depends on many other things. So it is not necessary that you have to come for treatment at the same place where I got treatment. Is there any good hospital near you? There is a big hospital where you can find all the doctors. You can get treatment there. That's why I don't tell anyone that you should come here.
You will be very happy here because I have been going to the same hospital for four years.
I have been admitted there four times and am going there regularly. So I have had a good experience. I have not received any complaint there till now. But when I see reviews or listen to other people, some people have very bad experiences there. Someone thought the hospital was very expensive. Someone felt that the doctor was not paying proper attention.
They are not listening to him. His treatment there was not good. It has gone bad. So, even with the same doctor at the same place, in the same hospital, different people can have different experiences.
So I would say that whichever big hospital, good hospital, experienced doctor is there near you, you can get your treatment done from them. Or if you want to come, I was treated at St. John's Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore.
After that comes my father's. Everything else went well. So I am having problem with my leg. There is pain. There is difficulty in walking.
When will all this be alright? I ca n't tell at all when all this will be alright.
Because I say it every time that no one can tell you when it will take to get better. You go to the doctor with your leg pain.
He also never says that you will get well in a week or two weeks.
He just gets the tests done and gives medicines. So, everything is fine with you, you are having problem in your leg, there is pain, there is difficulty in walking. So, if this problem is there for a long time and it is causing more problems, then you can consult a doctor once. If you had treatment for brain spine TB, then you can consult a neurologist or you can also consult an orthopedist once.
He will do the necessary tests. It could also be a nerve related problem. There could be some other problem also. So the doctor will check what type of pain you have and when it occurs. Only after doing all those examinations and then tests etc. will he be able to tell exactly why he is having pain and why he is having difficulty in walking. And if they have difficulty in walking then you can also get physiotherapy done. You can meet a physiotherapist once.
Physiotherapists can suggest some therapy after examining your condition.
Therapy can be suggested for 7 days, 14 days in this manner. So you can take that too.
Maybe that can help you too.
Because during my treatment, when I had such a problem, I got some help from physiotherapy also. I too had shared a video of leg pain about one and a half to two years ago. Maybe I have shared my personal experience also. When I was undergoing TB treatment, I also had severe pain in my legs. There was a lot of difficulty in walking. Then I also consulted a neurologist. Had also shown it to the orthopedist. So both of them did some tests on me and only after all the tests were done and the test reports came, they told me that this is the reason for your problem. So I suggest you to consult a doctor once and if there is a lot of problem in walking then you can also consult a physiotherapist. You can also take suggestions from them. There is a question after that. Okay Radhe-Radhe Didi Radhe-Radhe. How are you?
I am absolutely fine. I have a question, my husband has complete brain TB.
Now I am absolutely fine. But when I was doing MRI, there was a very mild lesion in it.
That happens. I had it too. The doctor said everything is okay. But for the past few days I have been having a little pain in my spine.
So is this normal after brain TB or something else? Please suggest. If you are having pain in your spine. Sometimes we do n't have back pain. One day goes into the next.
But if you have had it for a long time.
Like if you can notice then you can wait for four-five days. Wait for four to five days and then notice that you are experiencing pain daily.
If you are having regular pain for four to five days continuously, then you should consult a doctor. You should go to the same doctor from whom you got the treatment for brain TB because he knows your entire medical history. So if you have this pain for four-five more days, or if you have continuous pain for five-six days, then you should go to the doctor. When they go there they will see what kind of pen you have.
Where is the pen? So, accordingly, they may give you medicine for a few days and then ask you to come back, or they may get you an MRI or a CT scan. That will be known only after going to the doctor. But if you have more pain in your spine. Ok?
If you have more pain for four to five days, you should consult a doctor. And I suggest that you go to the same place where you got treatment for brain TB. After that I saw a comment that TB started spreading among the poor and now it has spread to everyone. So I do not think that it is right to link TB with poverty or that there should be any discussion of rich and poor in this because TB is a disease and it is not that TB is spread only by the poor or that TB occurs only among the poor.
Celebrities have also suffered from TB.
You can also check it by Google. There are many celebrities who are TB survivors. So TB is an airborne disease and those who have little nutrition, who do not get proper nutrition in their food, who have low immunity, who mostly live in public places, who mostly live in crowded places, they have a higher risk of getting TB.
Because poor people are not able to eat their daily food properly. They do not get proper nutrition. So they may be more prone to TB.
But it is not at all true that the poor should be blamed for spreading TB. Anyone can get TB.
Be it rich, poor, child or old, it can happen to anyone. It is not true that our immunity is low. It may be due to our food habits, our lifestyle choices or our pre- existing medical conditions.
Due to which our immunity is low. We get some disease and we blame the poor for it. Anyone can get TB.
So guys let's end the video here today.
I am also feeling a little unwell and you all should also take care of yourselves.
Take medicine on time. If you go out, wear a mask and avoid crowded places. Thank you so much for watching. Baba bye.
