The thyroid gland, often called the 'emotional gland,' regulates metabolism and emotional stability; when out of balance due to toxicity or iodine deficiency, it causes symptoms like poor sleep, emotional swings, and mental fog. Key thyroid health markers include TSH (optimal 1-1.8) and free T3/T4 (optimal 50% median or higher). Essential supplements for thyroid support include iodine (via baths or topical application), selenium, zinc, copper, and natural desiccated thyroid glandulars, which help neutralize halogens and nourish the thyroid gland.

The Best 5 Supplements For Thyroid Health
Added:This, unfortunately, is from Ancestral Supplements, which is from the Liver King, who seems to have lost his mind and probably has an out-of-balance thyroid.
All right, guys. Welcome to the show.
Today, I wanted to talk to you about the thyroid, aka the emotional gland. This is something very important to do your own research, right? I'm not a doctor.
I'm not a specialist in any of the endocrine systems or the hormones or anything of the sort, but I had to learn a lot about the thyroid because I had Lyme disease and because I had mercury poisoning. [music] Whenever someone is toxic with heavy metals, with chemicals, with viruses, [music] pathogens, parasites, the thyroid begins to take a really intense burden, okay? It starts to undergo a lot of stress. And what happens for many people [music] is that you end up with a sluggish thyroid, or aka hypothyroid. Hyperthyroid, which is overactive thyroid, it does happen sometimes, and that's a totally different solution, but for most people, now I've seen thousands of cases over the years, for most people, they have hypothyroid or an underactive thyroid.
One of the main reasons for this is because of [music] the toxicity that people have with heavy metals, but also because of the deficiency in iodine.
Okay, we don't eat a lot of sea vegetables, we aren't getting a lot of iodine in our kelp, it's not in our salt. You end up having basically a competition where the thyroid will just start pulling in [music] other things other than what it really needs, like selenium and iodine, because there are other [music] things competing with it, like mercury, other heavy metals, and other toxins. Over the years, I have found very, very powerful things to nourish the thyroid. Again, it's the emotional gland. When this is out of whack, people will have poor sleep patterns, emotional disruptions, high highs, low lows, everything will hit them really intensely. Their mind will just be going and going and going, and there's just a lot of chaos in someone's life when their thyroid gland is really out of whack. You obviously want to do this under the supervision of a doctor and under regular thyroid checks, tests.
And the most important metrics on those tests are TSH [music] checked, the free T3 and free T4. There are other things that are useful, but those are the main ones. And the TSH [music] you want between 1 and 1.8. That is a very healthy thyroid. The free T3 and free T4 you want in the 50% median range or higher. Okay? If all three of those are out of balance, then chances are you have hypothyroidism. If your TSH is well below 1.0, start getting at 0.6, [music] 0.5, 0.4, then we're talking about hyperthyroid, which is a different video. So, in any case, [music] once you have hypothyroidism, it's very hard to detox. It's very hard to do expensive protocols, expensive [music] treatments, to take amazing supplements, because you will be very reactive. And so, therefore, it's one of the first things that we have [music] people doing in the Detox Dudes course. We call it circuit breakers. It's one of those things that when it's out of balance, it can really throw your whole world off. So, we like to target it right off the bat.
Obviously, there's things in your diet you can bring in Brazil nuts, but we don't really like Brazil nuts at the Detox Dudes because the lectins. You can bring in more sea vegetables, but even some of those are toxic in heavy metals.
This is what I found over the years to be extremely helpful and help heal my hypothyroidism. I had a 2.8 TSH. [music] Okay? It's very, very high. And I had severe heavy metal poisoning. At one point, I believe my worst TSH was probably 3.6, [music] 3.8. That was only for a short period of time, but on average, I was still hypothyroid all the time. What I love the most is iodine in my baths. Okay?
So, I buy this big bottle of iodine, Lugol's iodine, and I'll just put one or two tablespoons of this stuff in my baths with Epsom salts. That's a pretty strong dose, so you're going to want to work your way up, and of course, talk to your doctor about all of this. But this will neutralize the chlorine, neutralize the bad halogens, even though iodine is technically a halogen. It will help nourish your body with iodine. Okay, so really, really powerful. This, unfortunately, is from Ancestral Supplements, which is from the Liver King, who seems to have lost his mind and probably has an out-of-balance thyroid. But nonetheless, I can't seem to find another company that does it as well as them, pure desiccated thyroid. A lot of people will buy or get from a prescription from a doctor of desiccated thyroid hormone or even synthetic thyroid hormone. All of these things are going to cause issues because they have binders and fillers and all different kinds of stuff. Um, if you get it from a compounding pharmacy, natural desiccated thyroid from a cow with a couple little binders and fillers, that's really good, but it's not that easy to find.
Nonetheless, I've been using this for years. It's really strong stuff. In Chinese medicine, if you have a deficient organ, you just consume that organ, right? It's pretty self-explanatory. We also have minerals uh from Upgraded Formulas, which has selenium, copper, zinc, and iodine, the essential minerals that you need for thyroid function. The same are in here, and honestly, you really can't overdo these minerals. That's why I take multiple different mineral formulas for the thyroid. You have B12, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, molybdenum, tyrosine, schisandra, ashwagandha, bladderwrack, cayenne, and kelp. This is really a full stack. I love this company. We actually work closely with them for our supplements, True Cellular Formulas. My TSH levels dramatically changed from these two. Okay, I watched it happen. In 4 months, my emotional swings massively decreased. This was about 6 years ago when I was really working on this, and I was thinking I might have to get on thyroid hormone. I took care of it naturally, and I just saw my emotional stability within a matter of weeks rapidly change thanks to these two. This is an awesome product called Lumati Red.
It's iodine. Okay, but there's also some B12 and vitamin D and potassium in it.
You can also just use normal iodine, and you take a few drops internally. With iodine, you can also massage it into your thyroid. If you want to just have a tincture of this, or you know, tincture is this, right? In terms of size, you can find any iodine like Global Healing Center in a small tincture. And what you would do is you would just pour this onto your hand, okay, and massage it into your throat. For women, you can massage this on your breasts. For men, you can put this on your testicles. Not this one, Lumati Red, because this has other things in it, but just a pure iodine, which [music] you can find anywhere. And that is going to help remove halogens from the breast, remove halogens from the testicles. On the throat, it's going to help feed and nourish the thyroid, and this is how you will balance your emotional gland, which is going to allow you to heal faster. If you suspect hypothyroid, or if you've had heavy metal poisoning, if you've had Lyme disease, you must get a thyroid [music] test, because if that's out of whack, you will be building on a house of cards, and you will [music] be so reactive to supplements and strong things, you just won't be able to make progress. So, make sure you check out your thyroid, learn and research about all of these. There are other products out there. This is just the best that I found over the years, and it's very important to stay on this. You don't just fix it and you're good forever. You kind of have to stay on it. If you've ever had a chronic illness, you're going to have to be taking care of your thyroid for the rest of your life, at the very least, with iodine. All right, thanks, guys. Leave a comment. See you in the next video. Peace.
