[00:00:03]There has been an evolution with respect to brain cancer treatment [music] in the present decade.

[00:00:11]We have moved into the genomic space, we moved into the proteomic space where we are customizing treatments. We are basing our treatment strategies on genomic and molecular subtyping of brain tumors.

[00:00:27]Cancer per se is [music] going to cause fear into our patients, but now it's treatable, it's amenable to a treatment, and [music] patients tend to have very good outcomes, and also have excellent [music] quality of life with the advanced treatment strategies we use.

[00:00:48]Especially brain tumors, there is excellent surgeries which are being done with utmost good navigation skills.

[00:00:55]There's also very precise radiation treatment strategies [music] with incorporation of image-guided radiation treatments, and also usage of CyberKnife, and also the new age treatments like proton therapies.

[00:01:11]Temozolomide was the only um treatment uh using uh systemic treatment, but now there has been an evolution with respect to molecular targeting uh strategies such as vorasidenib from Servier, and there has also been >> [music] >> um cutting-edge treatments with respect to chemotherapy screening models as well, which has given excellent outcomes.

[00:01:35]So, my message [music] for the World Brain Tumor Day is brain tumors are amenable to treatment, patients tend to have excellent outcomes than what they were having in the past, >> [music] >> and we are here to create impact and give better outcomes to our patients.
