My personal journey with ITP

[00:00:04]Hello friends. In this video, I will be sharing about my autoimmune journey. In April 2025, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called ITP, which is immune thrombocytopenia.

[00:00:17]ITP is an autoimmune condition in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks the platelets and destroy it.

[00:00:26]Platelets are tiny blood cells which helps the body to clot blood and stop bleeding. When the platelet levels are very low, it can lead to symptoms like bleeding, easy bruising, red spots on the skin, and fatigue-ness. When I was first diagnosed with ITP, I had a lot and lots of questions and fear inside me. But, through this journey, I learned lot about ITP, autoimmunity, and the overall health.
