Why Every Business Owner Needs a Personal Brand — What Alex Hormozi's Team Told Me

[00:00:02]I just got back from Alex Hormozi's workshop about 2 weeks ago.

[00:00:06]Absolutely insane time.

[00:00:09]Crazy to be in a room with other entrepreneurs, business owners that are like-minded. It was absolutely absolutely insane. Met so many people.

[00:00:17]Got a bunch of phone numbers. I'm actually in accountability groups now with a couple of guys. We literally hold each other accountable every every single week, every weekend. Put what we're going to do down for that week and we post it.

[00:00:31]It is absolutely insane. I've never met other people like that, right? It's hard to find people in this industry that are like-minded like that. But one of the key takeaways I would say that I took away from it was social media and personal branding. And that's why I'm posting every day actually.

[00:00:49]But I think as business owners it's kind of hard to see the value of that for some of us, right? Cuz like I was just saying and thinking that social media is sort of a distraction, right? You go on there and you just scroll.

[00:01:06]Obviously, I'm wrong and I was just scratching the surface. I go there and it's funny too because the one of the first things they said to me was like, "Do you not like making money?" when they learned that I'm not on social media.

[00:01:17]And it's so true, right? Because I don't want to connect with people. I don't want to learn with people. I don't want to grow a following with me to make more money, basically. And so it kind of it really opened my eyes. I also think it's super important because in the future when AI gets more and more involved, the only thing that's going to keep people different and businesses different is going to be their branding and their personal image, right? So I think this is super important to be posting every single day, to be talking about what you're doing, to show people what you're doing, to show people who you are.

[00:01:52]I think it's super important. I think it is hard to get started.

[00:01:56]It's super awkward if you if you're not used to it like me, but I think we all have to do it. If you're a business owner you want to grow and you want to scale.
