Aqua Terra is a sophisticated exercise in waste valorization that elegantly bridges the gap between aquaculture and soil science. It proves that high-impact sustainability is best achieved through ecological synergy rather than technical over-engineering.

Project title: Aqua Terra追加:
Imagine feeding your fish, then later watering your plants. But every week you keep buying two separate products. More money, more plastic waste, and more pollution. Sounds tiring, right? And that's the problem we wanted to solve.
But no idea becomes reality with just one person.
I'm Amy.
>> Hi, I'm Zach.
>> Hi, I'm Zara. and I'm money.
>> We are Tech Titans Go from Essen Molain's Malaysia. Proudly presenting Aquatera, a dualpurpose product that serves as both fish feed and soil fertilizer.
Why does this matter? Well, normal fish food and chemical fertilizers tend to pollute water and damage soil over time.
Plus, they waste loads of nutrients.
Akatera prevents this by using natural ingredients and applying nutrient recycling turning waste into something useful.
So how does Aquapera actually works? Our pellets are made from natural ingredients such as breads, sardine powder, spirulina, fresh eggshells, seed powder and gelatin. When placed in water or soil, the pellet slowly dissolves and releases nutrients gradually, helping freshwater fishes such as the climbing perch and supporting healthier plant growth at the same time.
Agar helps society by reducing waste cost and pollution through one affordable product. It also supports SDG 13, 14, and 15 by protecting the land, water, and environment. And in the future, we plan to continue our research with the Faculty of Science and Technology, University Malaysia, Saba, and make Aquatera on a bigger scale.
>> Enough talking. Let's see Aquatera in action. The videos you're about to watch show how our product is made, how it works, and the results we achieve.
>> First, let's make Aquatera. It only takes six simple steps.
Weigh the ingredients.
Grind them.
Mix everything together.
Shape them into pallets.
Place them on a tray and bake them in the oven.
Simple, easy, and ready to use.
Now for the exciting part, feeding time.
When placed in water, the pellets stay firm at first, allowing freshwater fishes such as the climbing perch to feed normally. As time passes, the pellets gradually soften and releases nutrients steadily into the water.
But Aquatera doesn't stop there. The pallets can be directly added into the soil where they slowly release nutrients to support a healthier plant growth over time. Even better, the nutrientrich water from the fish tank can also be reused to nourish the soil.
So, what happens to the water quality?
Using a portable pH pen, we found that the water remains stable at around pH7.60.
This is because the crash egg shells help cover the water and prevent it from being too acidic.
And finally, the results. On the right, you can see the cell after applying aera. On the left, our time lapse starts from day one. After the observation period, the time grown with Aquaterara reached 27 cm, while the plant using normal fertilizer only reached 17 cm.
That's 10 cm of more growth with Aperture.
