Why 52 million people are in chronic pain

[00:00:27]How about this one? More common among people who were previously employed, but are now unemployed. More common among people who live in low-income areas.

[00:00:36]More common in people who live in non-metropolitan areas. I could keep going. But what does that tell me? That there's a lot more going on behind this experience of pain besides just "Ow, I have an injury." We bellyache, "Oh man, my knees cracked today." That's not okay. That's not normal. We do not have to live this way. We do not have to live in chronic pain all the time popping Tylenol and ibuprofen.
