Seattle Children's performs rare procedure of bloodless heart surgery on Florida infant

The doctors that we spoke to back home just they wanted to do a two-step procedure and they did speak about doing blood or core order for that procedure. As Jehovah Witnesses we have a HLC committee which are like hospital liaisons and they said they actually work with Dr. They have meetings with Dr. Bahuta and they said that he is very respectful towards our beliefs and that's what we wanted. We just wanted someone to respect our beliefs and we appreciate that he respected our beliefs.
