Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a medical condition, not a character flaw, caused by health issues (diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure), stress and anxiety, performance anxiety, low testosterone, and excessive pornography use; it can be treated and managed with proper medical care and supportive communication between partners.

Make sure you're putting hit the subscribe button and the little bell right next to it, so you will know when I go live. And so tonight, I want to talk to you the men that watch this channel and I want to talk to you tonight about get hard and stay hard. Yes, the truth about erectile dysfunction. Now, let me just tell you I am a licensed sexologist. I work with three different urologists in my area, as well as GYNs for you women.
And erectile dysfunction does not make you less of a man.
And I I want to start off by saying that many men suffer from some form of erectile dysfunction within their lifespan and they suffer in silence because they're embarrassed, they're ashamed, or afraid that their wife will judge them. But, erectile dysfunction is a medical condition, not a character flaw. I want to say that. It is a medical condition, not a character flaw.
And let me just tell you again, I work with three different urologists and millions of men across the world experience some form of erectile dysfunction. And let me just tell you what erectile dysfunction is. ED is the inability to get or to maintain an erection firm enough in order for you to have sexual activities. Yes, it is the inability to get, maintain an erection to have intercourse, okay? And some men can get erect, but they can't keep it. Some men can get partially hard, but not hard enough for intercourse, and others lose their erection during intimacy or having sex. And so, occasionally, some men will experience all three of this during a course of trying to have intercourse with their wives. So, let me give you the top reasons why men experience erectile dysfunction. And the first thing is health conditions.
Yes, many men do not go to the doctor on a regular basis. It's like pulling teeth, and I live in a household with three different men that are grown, my husband and two sons, and they all will fight me tooth and nail even if they have a bad headache, a bad cold, whatever. They're not trying to go to the doctor. They could have the flu.
They're trying to do everything that they need to do inside of the house. Go to the doctor. So, so, having erectile dysfunction could be the first warning signs to something that is going on major in your body, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, high cholesterol, all can impact the blood flow to your penis. An erection is a blow blood flow event.
It is not something else.
So, if you're having problems with erectile dysfunction, you got to look at the circulation that is going on or the inability of circulation of blood going to your vital organs. Number two, stress and anxiety. The brain is the largest sex organ. I want to say that and that's for women and men. And when men are worried about bills, work, family problems, the pressures of life, the body goes into survival mode, right? You can only be fully fully active in sexually active and get the penis to work when you learn how to manage your stress. And a lot of times, you get in the space where you're so worried about bills and other things, it begins to affect your penis and and not being able to arise to the occasion. So, stress and anxiety. And once you get in that space where you have experience where your penis doesn't rise to the occasion or if it gets hard, it doesn't stay hard, or if you get to a place where it is hard and you're able to penetrate, but it goes soft during the act, then you develop number three, which is called performance anxiety. And this is where a lot of the urologists and people who help treat people with erectile dysfunction, they come to me because performance anxiety is one of the biggest causes of ED. I see this in my coaching practice every single day. A man has one bad experience, and the next time he is so nervous that he starts to anticipate that I won't stay hard. My wife is going to think something's wrong with me. She's going to think all of these things.
And it's not you. It's that your brain has convinced you that something is wrong, and therefore, you're not going to be able to rise to the occasion. And that's where we do a lot of work, and that's where I do a lot of work with you to help you get past performance anxiety. Number four is low testosterone, and I have talked about this a lot. As men age, testosterone levels naturally drop, and they decline.
And some men experience it often, and it's called a male menopause, which I've talked about that. Some symptoms include reduced sex drive, low energy, weight gain, mood changes, difficulty maintaining maintaining erections. And simple blood test will be able to let you know if your testosterone levels are low, and what you can do about it.
Number five, this is something big that a lot of men take for granted. It's pornography use, right? Many men don't realize that excessive pornography consumption can often factor your sexual performance. Yes, the brain becomes conditioned to really look at novelty things and unrealistic characteristics that when they begin you guys begin to engage with your wives, you expect this fantasy and all of this stuff to happen, and that is a trap, and it's a trick from the enemy. So, pornography use, excessive pornography use, can lead to erectile dysfunction.
Hear me clearly. Now, I want to talk to you wives, and I want to talk to you very, very clearly about this. Ladies, you need to hear what I'm saying. If your husband is struggling with erectile dysfunction, do not automatically think that he's cheating on you, that he no longer is attracted to you, that he he doesn't love you. It's that he's pulling away because he doesn't understand what is going on with his body, that is affecting his penis, that is affecting how he sexually pleases you, okay? And so, you guys need to work as a team to figure out, and you need to be supportive instead of accusing him to make him pull away even more and go in his closet and not want to engage and not want to talk to you. I hope and pray that this teaching has helped someone, but before I go, if you're a man that is struggling with erectile dysfunction, I beg you, please, please, please go see your your doctor because this is very fixable, especially if you catch it in the early stages.
