TX Republicans TERRIFIED As Ken Paxton's Epstein Deal Goes Public

[00:00:00]Ken Paxton is one of those guys who is so sleazy and corrupt it's hard to believe that he's actually a real person. And yet here he is as the Republican candidate for Texas Senate.

[00:00:08]Paxton has been impeached by his own party, was credibly accused of bribery, abuse of office, and infidelity, and is currently polling behind his Democratic opponent. He is already deeply unpopular, and you just know he's a guy with more skeletons in the closet than a Halloween store. Ken Paxton's flaws and the baggage she brings to the general election is going to be exploited to the fullest by James Terico and by Democrats. Uh James Terico raised $27 million in just the first quarter of this year.

[00:00:38]>> So I think the caucus was pretty down yesterday. Hopefully John Cornin can still win because Ken Paxton is extremely flawed candidate and I sense the worst is yet to come about his background.

[00:00:47]>> Ken Paxton, your opponent has taken to calling you Telopa. Well, I think if Ken Paxton is worried about freaks, he should stop giving Epstein style sweetheart deals to pedophiles. You know, this is the guy who just released Adam Hoffman from jail and admitted child rapist after one of Ken Paxton's wealthy lawyer friends got involved in the case. Ken Paxton even kept him off the sex offender registry. Adam Hoffman was supposed to serve 25 years to life, but instead he served less than a month.

[00:01:19]As of this week, he's now back on our streets because of Ken Paxton's corruption. Ken Paxton is the most corrupt politician in America, and it is costing Texans. It's endangering our children, and it must end. I think the Epstein class has no place in Texas.

[00:01:37]>> You know, they've already began their attacks on you and, you know, some of the kind of, you know, weirdest, you know, and bizarre ones, they're like, "He's a veagan." They don't even know how to say that. He's a ve he's a vegan and and you're not, you know, and then they go, "Let's call him tofu, man.

[00:01:54]Let's call him tofu." And and which is ridiculous.

[00:01:58]I I I I I want to hear your response to just kind of not not that, but just in general, you know, stepping into this and seeing, you know, what they're what what they're doing when they put a trillion dollar media machine behind attacking you. My thesis ultimately is, you know, maybe that stuff worked two years ago or three years ago when people were also being pitched, we're going to make your life so much better and it's going to be affordable on day one and we're going to do so much things. It's going to be great. But like the bill is now due. And I think whether you're in Texas or whatever, people like, "Okay, you promised me this stuff. It ain't happening right now. And you're not going to just divide and like I I get it. You're not going to make me vote for you by saying the word tofu over and over again. Like, where the heck is my Doge dividend check that you promised?

[00:02:45]And where's where's where's where's my savings that you promised me? You screwed me.

[00:02:50]>> That's right. That's right. And you know, I'm an eighth generation Texan.

[00:02:53]I've been eating barbecue since before Ken Paxton's first indictment. And if all they have on me is lying about uh me being a vegan, I feel pretty good about our chances uh this November. And to call Paxton ethically challenged is to call Jeffrey Dalmour suffering from an eating disorder. This guy is an empty suit and will do us no service by being in the US Congress. I hope that Texans realize how tough John Cornin is, how pro- second amendment he is, how pro- limited government he is, how pro- America first he is. And when they go to the polls on Tuesday, I hope that they know that they've got a great American who deserves reelection and the other guy is going to be nothing but an anchor on our conference for as long as he's in the US Senate.

[00:03:36]>> It's actually a source of like really big frustration in the basement as somebody who's a Republican like they're so hypocritical, right? You know, when it was Tony Gonzalez who had cheated on his wife and, you know, had all these affairs, the the MAGA base because they don't view Tony Gonzalez as a MAGA, he's he's a rhino. They were like, "This guy sucks. He's a cheater. We need to get him out. He's horrible." But then when Ken Paxton does it, they're like, "Oh, well, you know what he does in the privacy of his home? That doesn't matter. Totally okay. Don't worry about it." It's so hypocritical. And but that's that's politics, right? And that's just how the base thinks. It's just >> for a Republican base that likes to pedestal itself as like higher values and more Christian conservative stuff.

[00:04:18]They don't they don't follow that when it actually comes when push comes to shove. And um so yeah, he's been able to avoid all this. He's been able to avoid every scandal. There's questions about his finances. You know, then he's got this this most recent controversy where you know, you had this uh a former friend of his had molested a child and um you know that that ended up with a hung jury. I think it was like seven to five in favor of finding this guy guilty, but it wasn't enough. So they had to go through another trial. The kid himself didn't want to go through a second trial cuz it was traumatic. And they decided that Paxton led a thing to get his buddy a plea bargain. And it was it was just like two misdemeanors and time served, which was one day. Like this guy molested a kid and he got time served for one day in jail. And even the judge was like, "One day? Are you serious? We're giving this guy at least 60." And so people are about that. And frankly, like to make a joke, like you didn't read art of the deal, I guess, because how do you get this guy that molested this kid only you your your your B deal is like one one day time served. And um so now he's having to face the controversy associated with that. And you're seeing like influencers, his staff, his supporters are like, "Oh, the I I saw one of I think it was one of the influencers called the child's mom a meth addict and was like, "Oh, she doesn't she doesn't matter, right?" Um, and they're attacking the kid. They're all viewing this case as like a non-issue. So, it's like super hypocritical, but the guy's tough on me.

[00:05:49]>> Well, it's not a great choice either one really, but I think I I I lean towards Paxton for sure. He's local. Cornin hasn't always been with the Republicans the way I would like. Uh, but it was a, you know, it it was a tough choice, but I did vote for Paxton on the runoff.

[00:06:10]>> What are your thoughts about Paxton?

[00:06:12]>> Crook. Yeah, that's it. Period. He's just a crook. Paxton fits in perfectly with this administration, which perhaps explains why Trump has enthusiastically endorsed him despite or probably because of all the insane things that he's said and done. For someone as thoroughly amoral as Ken Paxton to be trying to force schools to like display the Ten Commandments, it is such a perfect encapsulation of everything that is wrong with the GOP right now. The fact that Ken Paxton is not only not in jail, but is still somehow attorney general and could, god forbid, actually become a senator, is a damning indictment of how far things have fallen. We've been burned before, certainly, but it truly looks like Texas might finally have a shot at swinging blue. Here's hoping the Taller Rico team has been sitting on even more Kenpax and dirt. It'll be a wonderful time for some big juicy revelations.
