Should MEPs have to reveal how they spend taxpayer-funded allowances?

[00:00:00]And MEPs get I think it's is it 5,000 euro per month on top of their salary that they don't have to justify, that they don't have to provide the details as long as they've been dealing with EU politics since 2008, the watchdog of the of the legislative machine that sort of don't seem to be able to fix this simple issue simply requiring members of Parliament to disclose how they spent these funds that are meant to be you know, covering expenses that are not meant to be an extra salary. And I think that's quite telling. And what you see every time with all these scandals, typically a lobbyist of all kinds of stripes, public or private, basically bribing MEPs is that the reaction afterwards is mostly to restrain the lobbying rather than to you know, restrain the policy makers.
