Political movements face ongoing challenges in defining acceptable boundaries for their members and figures, particularly when controversial individuals like Nick Fuentes (described as a neo-Nazi and Hitler admirer) gain influence within the Republican base. This debate illustrates the tension between free speech principles and movement integrity, where leaders must decide whether to police speech within their movement or allow figures who espouse extremist views to maintain their position. The discussion reveals how political movements can become divided when different factions have conflicting views on acceptable rhetoric and representation.

Katie Miller DESTROYS Abby Phillip when she tries disrespecting her husband on live tv
Added:Hey, y'all. And welcome to PolitaBrawl.
My name is Brian, and Katie Miller absolutely gets into it with Abby Phillips here on her own show. None of the other panelists come to the rescue of Abby Phillips, and that's important for this clip. Let's dive in.
Here's the deal.
A lot of people tried to ascribe their own personal views to Trump, and they tried to I guess influence them into their own personal views, or make their personal views stick to him. He has actually, on the issue of Iran, shown extreme moral clarity about this for decades. He has always said they cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. In his first term, he fired cruise missiles into Syria. We took out Soleimani. Trump has never been an isolationist, and anybody walking around in 2025 who thinks that he is is being willfully blind, or just stupid. He has been for smart engagement. He's not for adventurism, but he's been for smart engagement since he came on the national stage.
>> and Steve Bannon said, um, to Axios, Trump knows his movement movement space better than anyone, but a lot of his base feels that he's spending too much time on Palestine, and not enough on East Palestine, Ohio. So, listen. The fact is is that if J.D.
Vance or Marco Rubio think they're about to inherit the MAGA base, there's nothing about There's nothing about J.D.
Vance And and let me just Let me put a bow on this. One one more thing. Because what they don't realize is that even a part of this MAGA base, the fact that we're even mentioning Nick Fuentes, he's 4'11", he's misogynistic, and he's anti-Semitic, but yet he is somebody who has the pulse of the Republican base right now? They need to excise him That's absolutely false.
>> Nick does not have the pulse of the Republican base. It's what it's what it's what Democrats want to say to divide the Republican base, and that isn't true. But I want to go back to something really quickly. Tucker Carlson was just bowing IN FRONT OF TUCKER CARLSON, you mentioned him on his show.
He did not bow, nor did he kneel. But you mentioned J.D. You mentioned J.D.
Vance, and he also did not denounce Tucker for hosting Correct.
So, what does it say that Vance didn't feel part of what hit If he wants to lead the Republican Party, part of what he has to do is to police the boundaries of what's acceptable and what's not and not say, "Hey, Tucker, unacceptable.
Don't do that."
>> not up to you or myself to police speech in our country.
>> it be up to J.D. Vance to say this is not part of our movement?
>> Are you okay with Nick Fuentes? Here we go. I'm a Jew. Do you want to go there?
And let's say this.
>> Yeah, I just asked the question. Why don't you say no? Yes, I'm okay with If Nick Fuentes wants to be able to speak freely in our country, he has every right to do so. Do I agree with his views? Do I think Do I think that they should become mainstream in our >> you yes or no question.
>> Absolutely not. So, hold on. By the way, I really want to go back to this for a minute.
>> But, this isn't about whether he he can speak freely. It's about whether someone like Tucker Carlson, who is a very powerful force in the conservative movement >> people on your show all the time who call my husband and myself a Nazi.
>> I don't I don't Nick Fuentes is not a >> any different from Tucker Carlson going on going on and Nick Fuentes having Tucker Carlson on his >> He's anti-Semitic. He's a Hitler admirer. Nick Fuentes is actually a Hitler admirer.
>> is not a good person to be on That is a different thing. But, you have Katie Halper on your show very often and you've never pushed back as she's called my my my husband a white nationalist.
That is no different than Nick Fuentes going on Tucker Carlson's show. It's not and you should admit it.
>> Well, hold on. Wait, hold on. How is it anything similar? It's not remotely similar at all. Nick Fuentes sits around and says that he likes Hitler. How is that similar to >> with it? What does she have to do with it? She has nothing to do with it.
>> Stop. Scott.
Katie is the person who just said to me that it is comparable to say that Nick Fuentes, who is literally a neo-Nazi, is the same as somebody a liberal who who has an opinion, who is not a neo-Nazi. They are not >> opinion. How do you want Excuse me. Just let's go back to this for a minute.
Nick Fuentes can espouse an opinion on Tucker Carlson's show and and he didn't push back the same way you didn't push back when And called someone in my family a Nazi. It's not different. same thing.
>> If If someone comes on this show and says, "I love Hitler and I admire what he did." They would never First of all, I would never invite them on the show and they would never be invited back.
So, those two things are not the same thing.
They are not the same thing.
>> Let's go. But Katie, but hold on, Katie.
Do you believe that Jennifer Welsh has a right to say something negative about your about your husband?
>> same way Nick Nick Fuentes has a right to say what he wants to say.
>> think that you think that it's okay.
Hold on. Do you think it is okay for Jennifer Welsh Is she Is she allowed to say something negative about your husband? Absolutely. And it's your job as a moderator to push back against that person.
>> So, now let's talk about Nick Fuentes.
>> Nick Fuentes. But hold on. Nick Fuentes Nick Fuentes is espousing He He's not describing someone else as a Nazi. He is saying, "I admire Nazis." You don't think that's a different thing?
Do you believe my husband is a Nazi? You allowed him on >> you think that that's a Do you think those things are different or not? I I don't believe that they're different.
>> So, listen. I just think that you are I just think that you are making You are making You are making a comparison of two things that are not in any way the same. I acknowledge that you that And listen, when when people But hold on.
But hold on. When people say their opinions, I don't endorse them.
But I also am not responsible for their opinions.
>> that apply to Tucker Carlson?
>> from a person themselves describing themselves as a hate monger. And so, that So, but hold on a second. I am also not a Republican Party official or a Democrat Party official. And so, I'm asking you about you as a dem as a Republican and who you think is the leader of your party, right? And I'm asking And I'm asking your opinion. Your opinion, okay? If you think that J.D.
Vance is that person, do you think that he should be sitting at a table and nodding along with Nick Fuentes. Yes or no? I don't believe J.D. Vance has ever sat and nodded along with Nick Fuentes.
Do you think that you think that Tucker Carlson Do you think it is okay for J.D.
Vance to think it's okay for Tucker Carlson to sit and nod along with with with >> I think it's okay for Tucker Carlson to have Nick Fuentes on the show the same way you have people on your show Hold on, that's all I asked you and we can just leave it at that. Oh boy, there is a ton to unpack here. Let's let's start off with the last talking point that they had. Okay? First off, Miss Phillips, okay, Abby, can you admit that Jennifer Welsh is a terrible person? Okay? Can can you at least admit that?
You you've hosted her a couple of times.
She has gone on her podcast saying espousing absolute nonsense and vile rhetoric on the same scale as Nick Fuentes has and you refuse to denounce. So, why do we, okay, why do conservatives have to denounce our side when you won't do it on yours? There's no back and forth, there's no incentive here.
Then there's a logical fallacy here. You actually think that Nick Fuentes is a neo-Nazi. If that is true, then you need to stop Jennifer Welsh's ridiculous attacks on all conservatives cuz not all conservatives, as a matter of fact, the vast majority of them don't agree with Nick Fuentes. Can you have the wherewithal to do that? One of the other panelists has the exact same problem and did the exact same smug nonsense because they know where the truth is, they know what the truth is, and yet they continue to espouse the nonsense cuz it benefits their side.
They know what they're doing and that's what makes them closer to Jennifer Welsh than me or Katie Miller here or Scott Jennings ever being close to Nick Fuentes.
Okay?
That that is the simple point here and they keep pushing it in the worst possible direction.
Now, the original point of this video was talking about Trump's foreign policy and even on a wider scale, how that fuses into the mega mega base. And as for as far as the foreign policy goes, he's not able to fix things here at home because Congress is deadlocked and can't pass the Save Act. So, he's trying to rearrange foreign power. He just had a very interesting meeting with Xi Jinping over in China where they were trying to push the idea that "Hey, China is the rising power and you probably need to surrender now before anything bad happens." Trump just looks and laughs.
And then they try to cut deals because China knows its position is actually much weaker than it appears on paper.
They are a paper tiger. They cannot take Taiwan. They want to take Taiwan for the insipid reason of pride.
And then with the what's going on in Iran, Iran's insane. Okay? Their regime is insane.
And they have such a deep control that it's going to take something drastic in order to drag them back into the fold and ensure that there's actual peace in the Middle East cuz the closest thing we can get to that only occurs when Iran is toppled.
Okay. Now, with that in mind, we got to go domestic. We got to talk about the actual mega coalition.
The old Republican coalition used to be in five forms.
This is a personal note. Other conservatives have made this observation better than I have, but this is my personal interpretation. There's the Jacksonians, which are the populace.
There's evangelicals. There's some forms of libertarians. There's things that I call chamberists, people that don't want anything to change. They just want the Chamber of Commerce to make money. And then you have your what I call solutionists. The solutionists often work with the chamberists because that's the best way government works, uh but it might not be uh best for the uh morality of the people. That's why the evangelicals, Jacksonians usually stick together, and then the libertarians kind of act as sort of the middle man.
However, a lot of that has fused. The libertarians have basically uh come into the fold with the Jacksonians and the evangelicals. They have fused together.
Then the Chamberists are still in a whole lot of uh seats of power, but the solutionists are kind of gone.
They got mad that uh Trump didn't like them because uh the solutionists have all of the right answers, and Trump wasn't listening to any of them.
And thus, things got better. Funny how that works.
Uh but there's a new rise on the right, and it's the young right. I'm talking about kids in their early 20s. These are the people that will follow people like Nick Fuentes. Why? They were raised by a bunch of hippie liberals, and so they took the hippie liberal tactics and started using it against them, and they started noticing that, "Hey, we're starting to become a minority, and that feels weird."
There's deeper reasons, and I don't want to get into uh any true specifics on that. I'm just explaining things at a very surface level.
That is now uh and those voters weren't around with the original MAGA. My first time voting was in 2012. I begrudgingly voted for Mitt Romney.
Uh so, I've been around this fight for longer than these kids have. They don't fully understand the context. They haven't been fighting the liberals like I have for the past 15 years.
So, they they aren't as stable, and so they'll follow anyone else who uh has energy. And Nick Fuentes has a lot of energy. Tucker Carlson used to have it.
He's lost a lot of it.
Uh so, CNN is fighting is trying to fight uh a war against the rising young right, uh old Tucker Carlson, because they know that's easy targets for their base. They also know that people don't fully understand how these people how these people got where they are. They haven't followed Tucker closely enough or haven't even been in his circles.
Therefore, he must be just the worst thing possible.
He's done some dumb stuff recently and has said even dumber stuff.
But there's a much deeper rabbit hole to go into that and I don't have time to get into that here. But I can say this.
Katie Miller correctly stood her ground and Scott Jennings, thank you for standing up for Katie Miller. Abby Phillips is being obtuse along with the other panelists who were trying to basically obfuscate the truth because it benefits their side. They know they either don't know what they're talking about and speaking from ignorance or they do know what they're talking about and they're saying it on purpose to muddy the waters. But let me know what you think down in the comments below. My name is Brian. Hope you enjoyed that segment here on Politibrawl. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Catch you on the next one.
Till then, y'all have a good one.
