This is the same person who masterminded the Christmas Day bombing that killed dozens of people. Meanwhile, in 2014, the federal government had warned the Borno State government of the planned attack on Chibok girls, but guess what? They refused to listen and take necessary precautions. And guess who was the governor then? Our current vice president, Kashim Shettima. It is alleged that his participation in frustrating Jonathan government with insurgency actually earned him the vice presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress. Fast forward to today, rumor has it that Tinubu might actually drop him as his vice presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, which has been causing serious unrest in the north. And what's happening today? The level of insecurity has actually tripled, not only in the north, but in the southern part of Nigeria as well. And what's happening in Borno today? The state government loyal to Kashim Shettima just integrated 720 repentant terrorists back into the society. One may ask, is this a coincidence? Or is it the same network that frustrated Jonathan out of power now trying to secure its future? The question isn't whether Shettima was involved. The question is, who is protecting whom? And why are terrorists being released like they are the victims?
