In divorce court proceedings, polygraph (lie detector) tests can be used as evidence to verify truthfulness about allegations of infidelity, and when multiple questions on the polygraph indicate deception, it can significantly impact the outcome of the case, potentially leading to divorce and child support obligations.

What's Done In The Dark... 🔴 S28 LIVE | Jones v Jones | June 12 | 2p E / 11a P (CLICK NOTIFY ME)
Added:This is not that.
What's that one?
Thank you.
All right, everyone. We are less than one minute away.
In five, four, three, two, we're live, everyone.
Hello everyone and welcome to another live edition of divorce court. Welcome to my at home jury. Um or as I like to say, my jurors of the day here. Uh you are about to see backstage or as we call it in the judge's chambers. And um I'm fighting off a cold soul. You really are seeing how the sausage is made back here today. Today's case, the kind of case that makes me so worried because the stakes are so high.
This is a young couple with eight children. Did you hear what I said?
Eight children between them and they're in divorce court over some very serious issues. The plaintiff is concerned that she's married to somebody she doesn't know anymore. That he has not been telling her the truth. And if she finds out, she's going to walk away. That's a lot. Eight children in. That's an awful lot. We have a lot of work to do today.
Court is now in session.
Stand by everyone. Just a reminder, please look at the white chair.
>> All right, the stage is set.
>> All right, stand by everyone. Coming to you, Corey, in five, four, three, two.
>> Mrs. Jones says she was devastated when she found her husband in bed with another woman. Now she'll be surprised if he passes the lie detector test.
Today on divorce court, all rise, the honorable judge star presiding.
Hello everyone. You may be seated.
>> You're out of the case of Jones v.
Jones.
>> Thank you so very much. Looks like my family is in court today. Jones v.
Jones, welcome to divorce court, Mr. and Mrs. Jones, thank you for trusting me with your relationship and your marriage and your family. I mean, when I say family, I mean family.
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> You all have eight children together, if I'm not mistaken.
>> Yes. eight kids and they're all from the ages of 14 down to one years old. Yes, ma'am.
>> So, we got some serious things we need to discuss in this courtroom today. You all have been together for 15 years.
You're presently living together. You've been married only for 3 years. And although you have put this whole family together, there have been some questions about the relationship. Am I right, Miss Jones?
>> Yes, ma'am. It is.
>> Why are we in court?
>> I'm here because I'm tired of being played. I'm tired of being lied to. I'm tired of him just basically not giving me my my answers when I'm asking him question. But if he take this lie detective test and it come back negative, then I'm done. I want the divorce and I already brought my papers.
You serious about this?
>> Yes, ma'am. I am. Cory, I'd like to see what the papers look like.
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Thank you.
>> Miss Jones says she not with the foolishness no more. Mr. Jones, bless your heart. Um, no, not at all. I'm tired of all the shenanigans outside, everything that he has going on. I'm just I'm sick of it. So, according I'm looking at um the papers in front of me from the state of Georgia, pre-signed out. Um, I'm sorry, prefilled out and pre-signed.
>> So, she's not playing. Mr. Jones, you heard what your wife said. What do you say, sir?
>> Oh, I could clearly hear it.
>> We all could clearly hear.
So, what do you say to the allegations?
because this is a this is your family.
>> Well, it's all a lie.
>> So, are you telling me there's a misunderstanding as to what's been going on?
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> And um I know that to your credit, you said, "Let's put these suspicions to rest." You took a polygraph examination.
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Okay. So, now let's see what was the reason for a polygraph examination. I'd like to see how we got to this point.
Now, I know you all actually met through your sister, Mrs. Jones. We met through my sister.
>> Yeah. You were trying to hook you up and you finally got together.
>> Yes. So, basically, my little sister is the one that was like, "Oh, I have someone for you. Um, but he's short and she know I don't like short guys." So, it was like, "Okay, let me give it a try or whatever." And, um, you know, he had a baby on the way, me not knowing that I was already pregnant or whatever at the case may been. And, so, uh, he, you know, we basically got together and, you know, both had children at the exact same time.
>> Yes, but mine's older than his.
>> Um, by 20 minutes. I mean, they're aren't they the Aren't they the same age? Yes, ma'am.
>> Yes, they're the same. Well, about to be the same age.
>> Yes.
>> He'll be 14 this month.
>> And And you raised those boys together?
>> Yes.
>> That they're part of the eight?
>> Yes.
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Okay. So, y'all y'all been together since dirt for all practical purposes as young as a young couple. And you decided you were going to get married finally um 3 years ago if I'm not mistaken. Right.
>> Yes.
>> What changed?
>> Things started changing when me and Brandon was it was just like a whole bunch of argument. Like all the argument it was just back to back. It was over little things. It was just I just felt like you know I don't want to argue in front of our kids. So I just told him we need to just separate and cool down till things cool down till we can get ourselves together where we can communicate where we know our marriage will still be in line. So >> So wait a minute you all decided both of you is maybe we just need to take a break. Is that correct?
>> Yes ma'am.
>> Now what does that mean? Cuz anytime I hear this break, Cory, >> I always like to find out, are we in alignment on what a >> break? But we're still together. But taking a break to me as if like, okay, we don't need to be in the same house because the argument is going to keep going. So I don't I don't want any of that for our kids to be around in here, you know, to see our their parents arguing. So, >> so a break for you is we take a break from each other and the toxicity that we're bringing into the same household.
>> Yes.
>> That's a break for you.
>> Yes, ma'am. What's a break for you, Mr. Jones?
>> Oh, >> he don't have one.
>> We're not together. We wasn't together.
>> You thought Now, were you trying to get back together?
>> No, we just needed to separate cuz it was toxic.
>> Okay. What happened together? What happened during this time period, Miss Jones?
>> Was married.
>> Okay.
>> Something something tells me there was a problem. What happened during this time period?
>> It was just a whole bunch of argument going back and forth.
>> So, you all you all separated for a time?
>> Yeah, we separated. He went over to his sister and dad house. He went and stayed over there with them. Okay.
>> Me being the mom still continue to take care of the kids, doing what I'm supposed to do. Uh my friends asked me if I wanted to go out and I was like, "Yeah, sure. let me, you know, it's his turn to get the kids anyway. So, I went over and knocked on the door, asked his sister, "Hey, where uh Brennan?" And she was like, "Oh, he in the room, sis." So, I go and knock on the door, no answer.
Knock on the door again, still no answer. So, me being me, I picked the lock and >> breaking in my room.
>> It's not breaking when you got knew that she was out there knocking on the door.
>> I was sleep.
>> He wasn't sleep. Guess what happened?
What? Open up the door. They will cuddle up with a whole another female.
>> No, I was not. That is a Why you lying like that?
>> I'm lying. Wait a minute. I'm sorry.
These are these are either yes or no questions.
>> Was Was your husband in the bed?
>> He was in the bed with another.
>> Was there another woman in the bed? And I was livid and I lost all my cool. I start going back and forth with him, arguing with him. Then his sister ended up was like, "No, look, I got the kids.
You just go ahead and go." But she was like, "Just deal with that on another time. Don't do it now." Mr. Jones, you were in bed with a whole another woman.
>> She's not explaining that. The woman was on the other side of the bed.
>> I'm not explaining. How do that sound?
>> I was not next to her.
>> How do that sound, Brandon? Cy, >> I don't know what that means.
>> The girl, the girl was with my sister.
She know my sister. So, I didn't want her to sleep on sleep in your sister.
>> So, I told her, "You can sleep in the guest room.
>> She could have slept in your sister room.
>> We wasn't together, but I wasn't doing nothing. didn't matter. We was having >> We wasn't doing nothing.
>> I'm sorry, Mr. Jones.
>> I'm I'mma give you I'mma give you a doubt. Excuse me. Because I don't know you and I don't know what you did. But I guarantee you that your wife who says y'all are supposed to be just taking a break working on each other so you can learn communications is not going to be happy to walk into the room where you are in bed asleep to the point where you can't answer the door >> with another woman in the bed.
>> But was it doing nothing? Your honor, >> it doesn't matter. Well, the fact that you was so knocked out, couldn't hear Hutton knocking means you probably was tired from what you was doing before.
>> Before, I wasn't.
>> But why was the door locked?
>> I don't know. It >> wasn't excuses.
>> I mean, honestly, if nothing was happening, why wasn't the door actually open >> so that there would be no issue? Like, you could even had the door actually physically open >> because nothing was going on. But not only was it closed, it was locked. Mr. Jones, help me to understand.
>> We didn't do nothing till that night.
>> That night, we wasn't We wasn't doing nothing.
>> Oh, telling on yourself. Thank you. So, something happened later that night, Mr. Jones.
>> No, ma'am.
>> So, why did you say you did? So, which one is it? Did you or did you not?
>> We did it.
>> Okay. I'm waiting on the lie detector to test. Mr. Jones >> can't wait either.
>> Did you realize that you just dropped a dime on yourself by mistake? Did you realize that? Just now >> I didn't even ask no question and you just dropped the >> D.
You said till that night. What did that mean, sir?
>> I mean, she was sleeping in my room.
That's the night time when she went in my room >> at night. That's the time I told her out. You can sleep in the room.
>> Didn't do nothing till that night.
That's what I heard. You hear that, Cor?
>> Your honor, I think that story.
>> And I got another story, too, to tell you what happened.
>> What happened?
>> So, this one time he told me he was going to his cousin house, right? Mhm.
>> They were going to have, you know, men's day or whatever. They was going to chill and hang out. So cool. I'm like, "Okay, that's fine."
>> Are y'all back together or are y'all still separated?
>> We're still together. We were separated for about a year to get oursel together.
But >> So, now had you back moved back in?
>> Yes, we're back moving in together.
>> Okay. Now, I'm listening. What happened?
>> So, he told me he was going to be at his cousin house. He was going to chill with his cousin. and he was like, "Oh, I'll be back by 11 p.m." I'm like, "Okay, 11 p.m." So, I get to calling his cousin because at this point it's 12 o'clock.
So, I get to calling his cousin phone and I'm like, "Okay, he's not answer."
So, I called the girl. She didn't I called the cousin girlfriend. She didn't even answer. So, at this point, me and me, I went to go knock on the doors to see what's going on.
>> You cuz you will knock on the door >> and will and don't have a problem of doing it. So, I had went to go knock on the door and his cousin answered the door and he was like, "What's up?" I'm like, "Yeah, what's up? Where's Brandon?" And he was like, "Uh, Brandon out with me." I said, "Brendon said he was hanging out with you for the night and they he'll be back by 11:00 p.m.
>> Who talking me or you?
>> Just let me let me cuz I'm going to come to you, Mr. Jones. Don't worry, I'll get your side." What happened?
>> So, come find out. The cousin told me Brennan was never there. Brennan never hit him up or said anything.
So, I end up going back to the house and I sat there and I waited for him to get there. He didn't get in the house till about 2 3:00 in the morning, your honor.
>> And he was supposed to be back by 11:00.
>> He was supposed to come back at 11:00.
>> He didn't get back to about 2 or 3 in the morning.
>> So, what was the ramifications of that?
>> We I had um questioned him. I start um questioning him, asking him questions and stuff, and he was lying. But in the middle of me questioning him, his phone was just going off, just going, it's just ringing. So he kept declining the calls, like not trying to answer it. So I'm like, "Who is that calling you? Pick it up." So he didn't want to pick it up.
So me, being >> somebody important, >> I snatched the phone out his hand. It was somebody important cuz she kept blowing your phone up.
>> Same number being repeatedly calling, right?
>> Yes. So I end up snatching the phone and I answer. I'm like, "Hello." She was like, "Tell my Where's my boo? Tell my booty he need to come on back to come pick me up from the gas station. Who was this? Some girl named Asia. He left at the gas station at Chevron.
>> Mr. Jones.
>> Your honor.
>> I'm listening. I really want to hear it.
>> I was at my cousin house, >> but I had left to go help her out at the gas station cuz she >> Excuse me, Miss Jones. Hold on.
>> I want to hear from you, Mr. Jones.
>> I want to go help that lady out. Well, it was a friend, a coworker I work with.
>> Asia.
>> Asia. I work with Asia. But she told me that her tire was flat. So, I went over there to go help her. It was like around 250.
>> She saying my boo.
>> That's how she said. That's how she talked. She said she called everybody a boo.
>> My boo.
>> She call everybody a boo.
>> Wait, Mr. Jones, hold up. Hold up. Hold up.
>> This is after the incident with the lady in the bed that you all weren't doing anything, right? This is after that. Am I correct?
>> Yes, ma'am.
Why in the world would you ever put yourself in another trick bag that your wife could question your relationship with a woman?
>> Why would you do that?
>> And then why when you left your cousin didn't you tell your wife I need to go stop by my coworker? My coworker stuck at the gas station. You know Asian I was just trying to be a nice guy to help out.
>> Hold on, Mr. Jones. I'm here to give you the benefit of the doubt. Why just didn't you communicate that with your wife? That's all I want to know. Why do you just say, "Uh, Asia from the job got a flat tire. I'm gonna go over there, help her out, and then I'll be home."
Why not that?
>> You okay with me?
>> I beg your pardon? I'm looking at you.
I'm looking at you. I'm asking a question cuz this is a legitimate thing.
If you tell me, "Judge, my coworker had a flat tire and I went to go help her out." I'm going to believe you right now, sir. My only question is why didn't you communicate that same information to your wife? That's all I want to know.
Why not? I mean, it was my fault. I didn't I didn't tell her, but I just went out to go help her.
>> Why didn't you tell her? I'm getting ready to come back to that again. I'm asking a why question for a reason. Why?
Why didn't you tell her?
>> I didn't I didn't tell her.
>> Why?
>> I didn't feel like I didn't feel like I had to tell her.
>> Why do you think he didn't tell you? He didn't tell because he probably was. He knew the outcome that was coming behind it.
>> She take stuff overboard anyway. No, not I just want So the first thing is is when one is married and one is eight kids in one is courteous to one's partner and spouse. That is what you do.
That's the that's the only way marriage works. When you have a wife that is at home waiting on you. And by the way, it might be time to go tag your it. It's time for you to take over the household responsibilities. Like I've been with eight kids. Remember I said they from 14 to 1.
>> Yes.
>> I've been with eight children all day.
You supposed to be home by 11. So at least when I get everybody in bed, I could lay up next to my husband.
>> But no, you going to stay to 2 3:00 in the morning cuz you was helping another woman out. You think that's not going to piss me off?
>> I'm asking you as a husband.
>> It would.
>> See, that's what I'm talking about. I just want you to put yourself in the reverse position because you're the husband. You're the father. You're supposed to be the head of that household. Lead by example. You want your boys to grow up and do that kind of thing.
>> No, ma'am.
>> That's why I'm putting it on you right now, Mr. >> So, Jez, I have another one too.
>> Dear Lord. Okay, listen. So, this one time I got called then for work and I asked him, could he watch the kids for me while I go to work? And so he drops me off at work and you know I only been there for about maybe like three or four hours in and um my sister comes up there to my job and she was like where your car I was like Brandon got it he got the kids they he doing something with the kids like he taking them to the park. So she was like no come here. So she come outside she told me come outside go outside. Lo and behold my kids is in the car with her.
Wait with your sister. Yes. He dropped my kids off to her to watch them. But here's the other part. My sister sees him running down Ter Boulevard in my car with a whole another female.
>> That's a lie.
>> So I'm like, "Okay, at this point I'm ready to go. I I don't even want to be at work no more. I'm ready to go." So I call I'm calling his phone. Calling his phone like letting him know like, "Hey, I'm going to get off work. Come on and pick me up." He didn't answer. He didn't do nothing. I sent him text messages. No reply, no nothing. So I end up calling my sister. My sister ended up coming back to come get.
>> So now she got the kids and she got to come get you.
>> Yeah. And she got to come get me. So we go back to the house and I want to say right when we got in the house probably like 30 minutes later, I get a phone call from him telling myself, "Oh, babe, me and the kids on the way." I was like, "Yeah, okay."
I'm like, "Yeah, okay." But guess what?
When he pulled up, everything was silenced. Face dropped, droopy, just looking like he knew he was embarrassed.
He knew he messed up because the kids was outside playing and I was sitting in my chair watching them playing outside >> and I snatched my key out his hand, >> went to my car.
>> I found the condom and I submitted evidence.
>> Dang, you going to make me >> It was a fully loaded condom.
>> You submitted evidence?
>> I sure did.
I sure did.
>> No, >> but guess what he said it was for?
>> I said he did it for his self for pleasure. So he want to make a mess.
>> And we got eight kids.
>> Wow.
>> My brother had the vehicle.
>> Lie.
>> And that was his girl in the car.
>> Lie.
>> That was So, I'm sorry. Your brother, you gave your brother my vehicle >> to do whatever with his girlfriend.
>> He only had to go to the store to go get some stuff and he had his wife with him.
>> But why I was doing a side job?
>> I'm sorry.
>> Wait, wait, wait one second. Mr. Jones, let's start with you were supposed to have your children for the day.
>> Yes.
>> You dropped them off at at your sister-in-law. With your sister-in-law.
>> That's ma'am.
>> Without telling your wife. Let's start with that, right?
>> Am I right?
>> You're right.
>> Number two, you lied to your wife to say you had them and you were on your way with them to pick her up cuz what you were going to do is to swing by your sister-in-law, scoop them kids up, and go back over there. So, it looked like you hadn't done nothing.
>> He's not smart enough to think like that.
>> My brother was bar number three. Now you in the car, the sister sees you, reports it back to your wife. So you think real quickly, okay, my brother, it was my brother with his wife. Why is your brother need to have sex with his own wife in your wife's car?
>> H >> with a condom.
>> You'd be surprised these days. You would know.
>> And your brother is so nasty that he would leave. Okay, that's where I >> put a fully loaded condom in the front of your car >> where your eight kids could at any moment discover it.
>> Yeah.
>> That's that now I want to think now, Mr. Jones, that's what you want me to believe?
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Okay. Really?
>> All right.
>> That's the story. You sticking with it?
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Okay. Um, ma'am, you teach people how to treat you.
>> I do.
>> And this right here, this is your prize, cuz this don't make no sense whatsoever.
>> Yeah.
>> Because if nothing else, it's just disrespectful, Mr. Jones. And don't act like I'm not giving you a fair shot.
What you're telling me >> makes no sense. If you could come up with a explanation, >> sir. Your honor, I have some.
>> Oh, father. Okay. Tell me what the final straw was with this.
>> There's I'm sorry, but the fully loaded condom in my cart might have been the final straw for me.
>> There's another one though.
>> You're right.
>> I'm sorry. That's just me.
>> But I'm oldfashioned like that. Okay, >> go ahead.
>> But this one is when um Brendan decides he wants to I have his social media.
Everything is connected to my phone.
email, social media, Facebook, all of it. It's connected to my phone. I've noticed like it's just a whole bunch of notifications going up and I'm like, I know mine's not blowing up like that.
So, I get to checking it. Lo and behold, I open it. It's his. He's talking to a girl on Facebook.
>> He's talking to a girl on Facebook.
>> Yes.
>> And you see the what? That text back and forth.
>> I see all the messages. So, I quickly responds and let her know I'm the wife.
But in the messages, he's telling her everything. How I'm the beard baby mama.
I'm not the wife and we're not together and just, you know, son a whole bunch of lies. So me, I interfered and I let her know like, "No, I'm his wife. We're still married. We have eight kids together." And that's when she dropped the bomb on me with a copy of the lease with his name on it. They plant the whole future together.
>> That's lie. That is a lie.
>> And let me know that they got a baby on the way.
Oh, that's >> I submitted the evidence with the >> I know you submitted a lease. Yeah. And the picture.
>> I'd like to see this >> text messages.
>> Mhm. So, there's a name there.
>> My name is on there because I signed it for her so she could get the place. I put my name on so she could get the place. She couldn't get the place on her own. So, I went to go help. It >> doesn't matter cuz that's not your problem. I didn't give her no money though. It's me and those.
>> I didn't give her no money. That's all it doesn't matter. I beg your pardon. I beg your pardon. Just so you know, I'm going to take off my judge hat and just be the regular lawyer right now. You signed a lease. That means you are now liable for that monthly rent that's due.
>> Mr. Brandon Jones, you are.
>> She's paying it.
>> Oh, excuse me. If she decide not to pay it tomorrow, you guess who paying it or guess who getting sued?
>> So, my brother, >> it don't matter. Mess up your credit.
>> Brandon, what in the world is wrong with you? I am not even saying Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones, you have a whole wife.
>> She's pregnant.
>> Excuse me. pregnant.
>> I'm just Wait, I'm not even going to deal with that right now. I'm dealing with the fact >> cuz if I get to that, that's going to make me throw this gabble.
>> Mr. Jones, Mr. Jones, focus with me for a minute.
>> Okay, I'm focused.
>> You have a whole wife and eight children that you are raising. How do you have time to stop by the gas station for Asia and show up for another whole woman for a lease to take on more responsibility when you're not taking care of in Savannah?
>> Yeah, they was planning a future >> multi. Hold on. Wait, cuz I'm not even finished.
>> He done gave this girl $600. And that $600 supposed to be for our baby birthday party. A giving no $600 one.
like planned the whole birthday party and everything.
>> What made you think that this young lady was pregnant? Did she say that to proof >> the text messages?
>> I'd like to see the second part of this ad. Do >> they got a picture of the baby?
>> Excuse me.
>> What that says?
>> I would like to see this. And I need to focus.
>> But why would he say you sure?
>> Excuse me. Good morning.
>> Good morning, handsome.
Hope you slept good.
>> Mhm.
>> Morning. Beautiful.
>> That >> I miss you already. It feels like we never get enough time together.
I miss you too.
WFW.
Thinking about you. I do need to talk to you though. About what? You good? M all this baby talk with a heart cuz he liked it. You got me over here smiling thinking about the future.
>> You make me happy too.
You know you got me pregnant, right?
>> What we going to name the baby?
>> You see where he said you sure?
>> You sure?
>> I meant to say you sure lying.
>> No, you did not. I hate to say that. I mean, >> I'm sure. Silly text.
>> I took a test.
>> She took the test.
>> But where is it at?
>> It doesn't matter. It ain't even time.
It's 9 months, >> man.
>> Come on, man. Where they at?
>> What else?
>> Sloppy, nasty, >> and disrespectful.
>> Yep. Mhm.
>> I've heard enough. It's time for us to find out who's lying and who's not.
>> When we come back, I'm just going to ask for the test.
>> It's in recess.
Three, two, And court is now back in session. Um, so many allegations before we took a recess. Mrs. Jones, you said you want answers. Are you prepared for these answers?
>> Are you prepared for these answers?
>> Yes, I'm ready.
>> I'm prepared.
>> Are you prepared, Mr. Jones?
>> I'm ready.
>> Okay.
>> We bet you are.
>> Ready like spaghetti?
>> Let's ask the expert to join us.
>> Yes, your honor.
Good day, your honor.
>> Good day, Mr. Yarro. Mr. Yarro, there are so many allegations going around in this courtroom right now. Ladies and gentlemen, we are joined by my colleague, Mr. John Yarro of Guardian Polygraph Services. He's a certified polygraph examiner with more than a decade of experience serving both public and private entities. um based on his credentials and prior service to this court, I asked him to come in and consult in this case. And Mr. Jones sat down with him um to answer several questions I wanted put to you to put Mrs. Jones's suspicions to the side once and for all. Am I correct, Mr. Yarro? We have four questions. Yes.
>> Let's begin with question number one, sir. We asked the defendant, "Since being with the plaintiff, have you had any sexual contact with that woman named Asia?"
>> That is correct.
>> What was the defendant's answer?
>> The defendant answered no.
>> This the gas station lady. What did the test results indicate?
>> The polygraph examination revealed there was no deception indicated at that point. He was not having any relationships with Asia.
>> We still have more to go.
>> We still have more to go.
>> Question number two.
>> We still have more to go.
>> We asked the defendant that day you were seen driving the plaintiff's car with another woman in it. Did you have sexual contact with anyone?
>> That is correct.
>> This is the fully loaded condom situation.
Dang.
>> What was the defendant's answer?
>> The defendant answered no. What did the test results indicate?
>> The polygraph examination revealed >> there was deception indicated to that question.
>> Okay, that's just two.
>> No, no, no. There was deception >> indicated.
>> That was not true.
>> That means a truthful answer. He indicated that there was deception in his answer when he >> Oh, so you lied. Yes.
>> I don't know how >> you do. Question number three. So, we asked the defendant, "Did you have any sexual contact with that woman named Ebony that claimed to be pregnant by you?"
>> That is correct, your honor.
>> What was the defendant's answer?
>> The defendant answered no.
>> What did the test results indicate?
>> The polygraph examination revealed he was not being truthful to that question.
>> No.
Well, we can do it again.
>> I told you. I knew it was a long time though.
>> Question number four.
>> We asked the defendant other than that one time, meaning the time we saw him in the bed that morning. Has there been sexual contact with anyone else since being with the plaintiff?
>> That is correct, your honor.
>> What was the defendant's answer?
>> The defendant answered no.
And what did the test results indicate?
>> The polygraph examination revealed.
>> There was deception to that question.
>> I knew there was deception.
>> Mr. Yarbor, I thank you very much for your time today. I'm sorry that we wasted it. We appreciate you.
>> You're welcome, your honor.
>> I'm done.
>> You had nothing else to say to me no more.
Me and the kids, you don't even got to worry about saying this. We're good without you. It doesn't matter. You said what you said. You did what you did.
Don't worry about the kids. I've been taken care of and going to continue to take care of them with or without you.
I'm still going to be in my kids life and I'm still going to continue to move on with my life with my kids. I don't need a man. My kids are my man. I have six boys and two girls. I can show them the right way. I'm I don't need you.
We're good. Me and my kids are real good. We don't need you. As of today, you can go on about your business and continue to do what you've been doing.
>> Miss Jones, would you like me to serve these papers?
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Serve the papers.
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Sir, you've been served.
>> Um, Corey, stand right there.
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Show him exactly where your wife wants you to sign those papers because there is nothing about you that has been truthful and she deserves truth. Yes.
>> Let her have her life.
>> Let her have her life.
>> And I'm hurt behind all of this because we've been dealing with each other for so long. We got kids together. I've been there for everything through your downs and all. Like I was the one behind you 10 toes. Like when nobody else was there for you, I was there. I made a promise to be there for you.
We made a promise together to take care of these kids together. You made a promise when you got down on your knees and ask, you know, you proposed to me.
That that was just uh one. We're come as one, not you decide that you're going to be one and you're going to do what you want to do. That's that's not how it works. That's not how marriage work. But because this is what you choose to do and this is how you want to do it, you can continue to do it >> and you don't have to. I'm telling you, my kids going to be straight.
>> Oh, no. No, no, no, no. Miss Jones, stop saying that because you are going to continue to take care of your children like you always do. But he's going to help because you're going to go to court and you're going to get child support.
>> I help every day.
>> You're going to get child support >> and you're going to make him fulfill at least that obligation because he has an obligation to those children. You have an obligation to yourself. He has an obligation to those children and you've been carrying the weight for far too long by yourself. Give this back to the plaintiff.
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Ma'am, >> thank you, sir.
>> Do you have anything to say to your wife? Cuz you know good and well you been >> we got kids together so I know she ain't going nowhere. So >> who me? Is that why you think you can do what you want to do? You >> I mean I wasn't doing what I wanted to do. You were >> Everything about you is a liar.
>> It is.
>> I'm sorry.
>> He's a Gemini. That's what Geminis do.
They're too faced. They lie too much.
>> What the heck do you are a compulsive liar? That's what y'all do.
>> What they got to do with me?
>> Because you believe in your sign so much that you feel like that Gemini, Miss Jones, you're a liar.
>> Why are you arguing with a dead man in your life?
>> You're right. I'm not going to argue.
Mhm.
He's dead. Walk out and bury him.
>> You ready to go?
>> Yeah, I'm ready.
>> Cory, show her. Okay, >> ma'am.
>> You want to follow me?
>> Mhm.
>> You had every opportunity to tell that lady the truth. You know that. Eight kids in.
>> I've been explaining myself all these years. It's hard. But you didn't explain how somebody that could be eight kids in could be so sloppy, so trifling, and so disrespectful. I'm surprised. But then again, no, I'm not. This case is done.
Heat. Heat.
All right. I mean, sometimes I can get to the end result real quick. Sometimes it take a long time, but when the folk are lying and they lying to your face and they playing in your face, 30 minutes flat, we can get in and we can get out. That's what happened today. But none of this would be possible without some of my team. And um this week, I want to introduce you as we come to the conclusion of our tape season of some of the people that I really do rely upon.
Today's case was produced by my superstar. Um, we've been together all five seasons. Um, where's my girl Kayla Bill? Is she out here? Where is she?
Where is she? Where is Kayla? That's my girl.
Kayla is um our supervising producer and she still is like hands on. She's the one that makes sure my cases sing and I love you to death for it, honey. I just wanted to say thank you so that folk can see a little bit how the sausage is made. How you get these people to tell their business, I never know. Thank you, sweetheart. We appreciate you.
Congratulations. You're a great producer, an excellent producer.
I got to tell you, I couldn't do this without them, but I actually couldn't do this without you all. So, these are my in studio jurors. Um, this season, I think you all have noticed since you've been here um, with me throughout the taping season that we've been bringing in some voices from home this time. We call them our at-ome jurors of the day.
And today's at home juror of the day has watched the whole case unfold from start to finish. And I see in my notes that she's from my home state of North Carolina from Winston Sale of North Carolina, Rachel Burrell. Rachel, thank you for joining us.
>> Thank you for having me. Absolutely. I'm from down in that North Carolina area and um we where we come where we come from, we tell the truth and I got to tell you, were you surprised with the lie detector results or were you like me? You knew what was getting ready to come out.
I was only surprised about the first one, >> you know, but that one came back that he was telling the truth. No, I he doesn't lie. Well, >> no, but he lies all tell a good lie.
Okay, he may not lie well, but he show lies often. I tell you that. And it's interesting because he came across like he had an expectation that his lies would just be accepted.
>> Yeah.
>> Where do you think that comes from?
>> I don't know. He was really smug. He had no remorse. And maybe because she's allowed it for this long.
>> Well, you do treat you teach people how to treat you. And I think she has taught him that. um she will accept BS. Um >> yeah.
>> So if I could pick your brain, what advice do you have for her moving forward, especially since there are eight children involved?
>> Well, I think she needs to get her support system together because she's going to need some help with those eight kids. And I agree with you that she needs to get child support >> and maybe some counseling. If I were her, I I wouldn't trust him to take care of the kids. And I don't mean financially. I mean for visitations, >> you know, >> to be honest with you, it doesn't seem like he's been giving her a whole lot of help and support anyway.
>> No.
>> So, I'm not sure how much the dynamic is actually going to change.
>> Miss Bella, I thank you so very much.
Um, I I hope this this young woman finds um herself in all of this cuz that's where she has been lost. Thank you again for joining us and thank you all for being a part of our case today. Um, we actually have a full docket this afternoon. We have several more cases.
My instudio jury will be here with me and then I expect to see you all back here at 5:00 p.m. Eastern today because we will have another live case. And you know if I'm in front of you, it's going to be fire. Courts are journalist.
