This video examines how misinformation and institutional bias can lead to the wrongful targeting of victims in self-defense situations. The case of Sophie of Dundee, a 12-year-old Scottish girl who was initially arrested for possessing weapons while defending herself and her sister from a male attacker, illustrates how authorities and media can initially misidentify victims as perpetrators. The attacker, a Bulgarian man named Ilia Bellov and his sister, were later convicted of assault and threatening behavior, vindicating the girls. The video criticizes how misinformation spread by public figures and media outlets can undermine justice and community trust, demonstrating the importance of evidence-based investigation over assumption-driven narratives.

‘Sophie of Dundee’ Vindicated | Blade-Wielding Scottish Girl Was Indeed Attacked by Migrant Predator
Added:Back at the end of August, video emerged from Dundee, Scotland, showing a 12-year-old girl brandishing blades about a 12-in knife and a hatchet to fend off a male, at the time, at least migrant sounding aggressor. In the original video, you can hear the girl and her sister pleading to be left alone.
>> You can hear the girls telling this guy that his advances are not age appropriate. [ __ ] TOUCH MY LEGS. I THOUGHT SHE HAD [ __ ] 12.
>> AND while it is tough to hear, it sounded like these girls were complaining of a physical attack that had just preceded the video.
>> [ __ ] bashers. SHE [ __ ] 12 AND YOU JUST BUR ME.
>> Sophie of Dundee, she was dubbed and she was immediately meme'd in Braveheart style to immortalize her Braveheart bravery. And as worthy as the memes were, it's tough to feel good about even cracking a smirk at them given the subject matter. In what kind of country are pre-teen girls fighting off older male attackers with blades in the middle of the day in a public park? In what kind of country would such a man even feel confident enough to try such a thing, let alone to record it on video and post it himself? Well, of course, the kind of country that would scrutinize those questions more harshly than they'd scrutinize the predator, at least initially. Actually, worse, the kind of country that would scrutinize the girls first. Because it wasn't the attacker who was initially arrested. It was the girl with the blades. Police tracked down Sophie of Dundee and charged her with possession of offensive weapons. And just how did she even come to the attention of police and prosecutors to bring these charges?
Well, because this migrant predator went to the police himself almost certainly.
Again, this guy posted the video trying to get these girls in trouble for their blade wielding. You can hear him complain about the weapons during the recording.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
It was a reverse to catch a predator where the predator reports kids and police arrest children for fighting back. So what kind of country indeed? As the video and news went viral, that's a question many asked, amplified significantly by Elon Musk, who posted it in reply to the video. What kind of government arrests little girls who try to defend themselves? That single sentence tweet immediately became a top journalistic and law enforcement priority. See, the problem is not migrant predators targeting young girls for abuse. No, the problem is misinformation, suggesting that's even happening at all, even though we just watched it happening on video. Police Scotland said they are aware of misinformation shared on social media.
But please don't share it yourself because initial investigation shows no evidence to support the allegations of predatory behavior and their journalistic parrots in this case at the Guardian repeated the same. There is no evidence of an attack here. In fact, there's no evidence the guy recording the video is even a migrant at all.
Okay. Well, we don't need additional evidence to reach those conclusions with a high degree of confidence based on what's in the video alone. What even is the alternative theory for what happened here? That rowdy pre-teen girls are just attacking grown men on the street.
Ridiculous in concept. But even if this was an isolated instance of such a thing, why are these girls fearfully shouting at this guy to leave them alone? Why is he advancing on them? Why aren't they advancing on him? And where there is any doubt about what's happening in this video, we can view this instance within the trend in which it fits. Because wow, there sure are a lot of rapes happening in the UK that correspond directly with an immigration wave. Probably explains why this girl carries those blades in the first place.
What's more likely? That she's some very rare, troubled young female aspiring serial killer or that she has constant threats in her life just like this one?
Threats that require defense mechanisms.
Regardless, whatever preliminary investigation they claim to have done, we know police did not look very closely. Forget analyzing trends. Forget making contextual assumptions. How about just ask these two girls themselves what happened. As you heard the sisters mention in the video, there was a physical attack on them before the recording started. Sophie's sister was hit and pushed in the head, causing her head to hit a handrail. And after the attack, she had photos of the obvious injury. Despite that direct evidence and the broader evidence of the trend in which this fits, Scotland's first minister, John Swinny, made public comment to attack not the predator targeting young girls. Oh, this is an active law enforcement investigation about which it would be inappropriate for him to comment. He made public comment to condemn Elon Musk for that one-s sentence tweet. This is a a live police investigation. So there's a limit to what I can say about the individual case. But what is very important is that police Scotland have issued a warning about deliberate misinformation that is being used to stoke up fear and alarm in our communities. But people like Elon Musk with the misinformation that has been stoked up about this case are trying to undermine that sense of cohesion within our communities. And it is totally and utterly unacceptable. And police Scotland are absolutely right to call it out.
>> Yes, that's it. It's not migrant predators creating concern and alarm with attacks on minor girls. No, it's tweets. If only the tweeting would stop.
Well, then there would be no concern or alarm at all because there's nothing actually happening to cause such concern. In that same theme, the journalists joined. Don't believe your eyes or ears. Believe us, your journalistic superiors, who obviously write better descriptions of this event secondhand than a firsthand video showing exactly what happened. The publisher of The Spectator said the characterization of migrant predator targeting young girls is quote just another propaganda slop story. The BBC officially reported that there was no evidence of online claims that these girls were at risk of sexual assault. An ExGuardian journalist posted, quote, "The idea that the girl is carrying a machete and a hatchet to defend herself against migrant rapists is the kind of theory you only dream up after spending years melting your brain on fascist Twitter." Yeah. Well, I'd wager just a few minutes of walking around in a short skirt in certain parts of the UK would demonstrate that fascist brain melt reality a lot quicker than years reading any tweets would. But hey, if you're too scared to try it yourself or you lack the skirt legs to run the test, you could always contact one of the thousands of people with experience in the matter. See if they're all just brain rotted fascists who only hallucinate that they've been victimized. But after all that noise last summer and fall, much more quietly in February, reality hit. The actual fantasy was exposed and the tinfoil hat became a crown of truth seeeking once again. Oh, the appropriate charges aren't actually for the knife and hatchet girl. Turns out, yes, the appropriate charges are indeed for the creeper guy who made her draw such weapons in the first place. A man and woman have been charged by police for assaulting girls in Dundee. Prosecutors allege Ilia Bellov, 22 years old, approached and followed four girls, including these two. Oh, so it's actually even worse than what we saw in the video. And it is perfectly consistent with the trend that people were ripped and demonized for correctly recognizing. This guy was charged along with his 20-year-old sister who physically attacked these girls and caused the injuries seen in the photos.
The news read in February as though this was some new development that took months to discover. No, the girls complained of the attack in the video itself. Testimony we were told didn't count. And they had photos of the resulting injuries from the attack that apparently nobody bothered to ask to see. And now after trial, it is full vindication for Sophie, her sister, and everyone who understood what they were obviously watching in that video. Last week, Ilia Belellov, the man who recorded this video, chasing after these girls, was convicted of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner toward all four of these girls. All of them between the ages of 12 and 14. His sister pleaded guilty to the assault. And yes, this guy was pursuing these girls for sexual reasons. The incident developed when the two sisters were walking to a bus stop. This guy, Bell, approached them and made sexual remarks. Sophie, the girl with the blades, testified to the court, quote, "He kept saying, "Come here, sexy. I will show you how to have a good time." When she got angry and shouted back at him, Belellov called his sister, who then showed up and started physically attacking them. So, the sexual aggression claims of the so-called fascist reactionaries were in fact correct. So, was the characterization migrant. Belellov and his sister are Bulgarian. I couldn't find a timeline of when they came to Scotland, but given that the BBC just calls them man and woman in their headline without any Scottish descriptor, I'm going to infer it was relatively recently, perhaps on legally suspect terms, cuz if they could call them local residents, they probably would. Plus, Belellov made his migrant identity part of his defense. He told the court that the girls called him a [ __ ] migrant and that the interaction only became physical because he was trying to protect his sister from the bladed attack of these girls. Yeah, beware those roaming gangs of blade wielding little girls who attack migrants on site. Given that threat, it's a wonder there are even any migrants brave enough to make the trip to the UK at all. Of course, within the reality of these migrant attacks and the government's general refusal to intervene to stop them, migrant hunting street gangs would be kind of understandable actually. But that's the real fantasy of this story. Regardless, as though whatever this girl said, polite, rude, or otherwise, has any justifying effect for this guy and his sister's physical aggression. Anyway, the judge on the case says, "I don't actually care if children called you a [ __ ] creep." and an immigrant, sir, because even if they did, that sounds like an accurate description, eloquent, actually, given your behavior and older age. And while there is some open crow feasting for those who initially dismissed reality and shamed others for recognizing it and now have to confront the truth, it's mostly cricket chirps relative to the prior shoutdowns. I don't see any followup from the Scottish first minister John Swinny or Police Scotland to acknowledge their warnings of misinformation were wrong. What they called misinformation was the truth and people are perfectly reasonable and correct to be alarmed by it. To at least his partial credit, that spectator publisher did acknowledge, "Yeah, I got that one wrong. I was overly hasty and skepticism of the girl's story. I've deleted my prior tweet calling the correct understanding of the story quote propaganda slop and yes lesson learned though notably no apology offered to the quote thousands of morons who understood the story correctly. No explanation for how he will in fact ask the questions he demands of others next time or what sort of grace he may offer for others asking such questions. And as many are rightly requesting in response, let's be just a little more specific, though, cuz sure, everyone gets a story wrong sometimes, but it's a question of the validity of the assumptions that get you there. As in, how is it possible that by default, you believed a grown man recording a video of himself chasing kids around over the obvious terror in the 12 and 14year-old girl's voices? On first encounter, it's possible that the girls are in the wrong shore. But without further information, who should get protection by default? Young Scottish women or some guy who just showed up yesterday from a foreign country to chase them? To the question that prompted this entire controversy, even more than the attack itself somehow.
What kind of country thinks that way?
What kind of country tolerates this behavior and even defends it when they see it on video? What kind of country assumes that its own young women are the bad guys? What kind of country assumes that some guy chasing them around must be the victim himself? What is such a country even protecting? What future is such a country even building? Or is it just a modern act of surrender to the enemy at the gate? And hey, it's great that these questions are askable with journalistic blessing now. But a question is only as valuable as its answers and the investigation that leads to them. Cuz without the actual search for the truth, a question is only a philosophical gesture, not something with practical results. And before we can answer big ones like what is the purpose of a country, we have to get some smaller ones right. So, let's start a little closer to home, a little introspection, and work outward from there. What is propaganda slop? What makes it? What defines it? And how does one condemn it while simultaneously manufacturing it professionally? It's like Hormell disavowing spam. If you want us to believe you've had some meaningful realization against it, well, you're going to have to change your entire business model.
