[00:00:09]Former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt [music] may have fallen short in his bid to unseat Mayor Karen Bass, but his political future in California may not be over.

[00:00:30]Speaking to Fox 11, Hilton [music] praised Pratt's mayoral campaign, saying the former MTV reality star brought more to the race than publicity.

[00:00:39]"I think that he got a lot of attention with his brilliant campaigning social media dominance.

[00:00:43]>> [music] >> That was great, but he actually had some really substantive plans as well, particularly on homelessness, that I fully support.

[00:00:51]They're very well thought through," he said.

[00:00:54]Hilton also suggested he would be open to working closely with Pratt in the future.

[00:00:59]"I would be [music] very happy for him, you know. Whatever I can do to help make that happen, including working with him or not. I'm not going to, you know, rush it. But I do think that he had some really important things to say," [music] he added. When asked whether Pratt would have a place in a Hilton administration, the gubernatorial candidate left little doubt.

[00:01:32]Political observers widely viewed him as the favorite to secure second place in the primary and advance [music] to a November runoff against Bass.

[00:01:41]Instead, Pratt was overtaken by progressive candidate Nithya Raman, ending [music] his mayoral campaign before the general election.

[00:01:48]The results of the election sparked backlash [music] among some supporters of President Donald Trump, who alleged without evidence that the election had been manipulated.

[00:01:58]Vance both suggested something improper had occurred.

[00:02:02]Trump claimed, "All I have to do is look to tell that the election was stolen from Pratt." House Speaker Mike Johnson [music] also questioned the outcome.
