In collegiate athletic conferences, member institutions are bound by conference bylaws they voluntarily sign, which grant the conference authority to discipline members who violate rules or refuse to follow conference governance. The Big 12 Conference, with 15 of 16 member votes, can rewrite its bylaws to enforce sanctions, including schedule realignment, financial penalties, or even expulsion of non-compliant members.

IT'S WAR - Texas Tech threatens law suits! Texas AG threat
Added:Well, thanks for watching Numskull News.
And today, for the third day in a row, or fourth day, I've done two videos about the Soursby crap. I've done a whole live stream dedicated to nothing but his punk ass in Texas Tech and what's going on.
And now here we are again, talking about the same [ __ ] Why?
Because Ken Paxton, Texas Attorney General, has issued a letter of warning to the Big 12, if you sanction Texas Tech.
If you sanction them, you're going to get sued. We're coming after you.
It's in the bylaws of the conference that Texas Tech signed.
Now, they don't want to be governed.
I'll get to that in a minute.
And then there's Jeffrey Kessler, the the the lawyer, the attorney, the piece of scumbag [ __ ] he is, issues a warning to the Big 12.
That you can't go against a judge's order, blah blah blah blah blah.
The Big 12 was not part of that lawsuit.
Sorry. They're not a part of the lawsuit. That's between the NCAA and Brandon Soursby.
What's taking a play What's taking place now is between Texas Tech and the Big 12, their own conference.
Like any lawyer, he's a liar.
That's what he gets paid to do. So, screw him in his ass.
Now, the Big 12 I I I firmly believe they they are going to sanction Texas Tech and it's going to be it's going to be rough.
>> [sighs] >> But given what's all all all the dust up all the [ __ ] that has happened I have an idea. Because whether you believe it or not Tech sorry the Big 12 can pretty much do anything to Texas Tech. If it's not in the bylaws they can rewrite the bylaws with a supermajority. Right now they got 15 of the 16 members ready to do whatever it takes to get Texas Tech to heed to to stop Brandon Sorsby from playing.
I got one way to do it.
And I'm I'm look everyone outside of the Big 12 wants to [ __ ] about this.
Everyone's putting in their two cents.
People from the ACC people from the Big 10 and of course the SEC.
So here's what you can do guys.
Help the Big 12. This is how you help them.
This is how you help them.
It's a wonderful beautiful idea everyone working together.
Right now as it stands Texas Tech is scheduled to play nine conference games against nine conference Big 12 opponents.
Each one of those other conferences pick three teams.
Actually ask for volunteers three teams.
Buy out one of your weak ass FCS opponents whoever it is the cheapest one buy them out.
And then play a Big 12 team in week zero.
That's how you do it.
Oop.
As a matter of fact, let let me let me show you.
All right, this is Texas Tech's schedule. All right?
They can play Abilene Christian all they want. They can play Oregon State all they want. Brandon Sorsby won't be there anyway.
Now, Houston's already in week three. They'll just stay there in week three. You just need someone to come in and volunteer to remove Texas Tech and play Houston.
All right? Everybody else will be in week zero. Basically, all of Texas Tech's schedule outside of Houston and their non-conference opponents, that means Colorado, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Arizona, West Virginia, Okla Oklahoma State, Baylor, and TCU, all all those opponents, all those games will be played in week zero against Big 10, SEC, and ACC opponents.
You ask for volunteers.
The first people to volunteer to do this, and I I I have a hard time imagining the SEC teams won't love to screw Texas Tech in the ass.
But, let them come up and say, "Okay, they get their pick. Whoever they want to play. You want to play Baylor?
Uh uh you think you got an easy win against West Virginia or Cincinnati? That's a complete rebuild there.
Then then you first come, first serve.
Colorado, they were four and eight last year. You think you can smack them around?
That's fine. And by the way, these will all be home games. That means Colorado loses a home game. They'll have to go to whoever volunteers to play them. Same thing with Cincinnati. Same thing with Oklahoma State. Same thing with Baylor.
Everybody else that's a road game anyway, they just have to go a little bit further.
All right, it's three SEC schools.
Whoever wants to do it, pay out your weakest, shittiest opponent, every and we know they all play FCS schools. They got at least one lined up.
Pay them off, it won't cost a ton.
And and by the way, the Big Ten, the SEC, and the ACC should all those conferences should pay the buyouts, not not the teams themselves, should pay the buyouts.
Why is that? Why why shouldn't I mean, the Big 12 theoretically could pay all the buyouts, but since y'all want to open your faces about all this [ __ ] put your money where your mouth is, and do the right thing, and screw Texas Tech out of the 2026 season. If the if And by the way, you got to give Texas Tech a little time. Give them 30 days.
Give them 30 days to change their mind on Brandon Swordsby's eligibility to play for Texas Tech.
It's not a court order. They he does not have to play. You don't have to cut him, but he does not have to play. You can say, "Hey, we are concerned for his mental well-being. We don't believe him taking an active role as the starting quarterback for the Red Raiders is in his best interest. He needs to heal. He needs to get right. We are here for him.
We're going to have We're going to give him a ride to therapy every day, group therapy, uh whatever, massage therapy, whatever he needs, we got. We're going to We're going to help this dude do all that he can to get right and get ready for the NFL.
But, he can't play. So, all that can be worked out.
But, you give them 30 days.
You don't think ESPN and Fox would love to have a week zero that looks like that?
You got essentially eight dynamite matchups, big-time matchups to kick off the 2026 season. This would be awesome.
And now, you know, you may you can sit there and say, "Well, you know, a Cincinnati game against Boston College or whatever, not a big deal." Well, I mean, Georgia wanted to open their mouth, they should be the first to step up.
And that would be cool. If they said, "Hey, we'll do our buyout, we we'll be the first one up here, we'll take Cincinnati."
Georgia will play Cincinnati week one at our place. Cool.
And Nebraska, Nebraska wanted to open their face. Well, you know what? They're used to playing Colorado. Give you know, we'll we'll take Colorado at our place.
Okay.
There you go.
And just go down the list. Who whoever wants to raise their hand say, "You know what?
We'll do that cuz what Texas Tech is doing is [ __ ] We'll do that. We'll play Oklahoma State. We'll play Baylor at our house. We'll play Arizona or Arizona State at our house."
And the last team to step up, well, I'm sorry, you're going to have you're going to have Houston coming in on week three.
But, to me, that's that's what you can do and the Big 12 can absolutely do that [ __ ] Maybe you think that's harsh. Well, you know what? I think Ken Paxton and Kessler and all these people just acting a damn fool to me is too much.
And and look, depending on how this [ __ ] goes, if somehow through injunctions and everything else, they find a way, they screw the Big 12 and here here comes Soursby walking onto the field in three.
Folks, I've been saying it all week.
There's a nuclear option.
I I said that couple of videos ago before my live stream.
I I talked about a nuclear option.
Now, there's a word that started being started started to be floating around now. Seriously, just hush terms just a little bit on YouTube.
Other people are thinking of this.
It's called expulsion.
Kicking Texas Tech out of the Big 12.
If they go that hard, scorched earth to the mattresses over this [ __ ] and cause a world of horse [ __ ] and they're already causing it.
I'm going to have videos coming later on about the breakaway is more real than ever as far as the Big 10 and the SEC because of Cody Campbell and Texas Tech.
That that's that's where we're at. I've never been a believer in the breakaway, never thought it was going to happen, but I'll be damned if it's going to happen, Cody Campbell just handed them a red carpet to get it done.
That stupid son of a [ __ ] And it pisses me off because Texas Tech fans are great fans. They don't deserve to watch their house burn to the ground, but that's what Cody Campbell is hell-bent on doing is burning that son of a [ __ ] to the ground. And everybody in leadership at Tech is following him into the inferno.
And I don't want that to happen. I don't want an expulsion. I don't want them kicked out of the Big 12, but damn it, if they're going to go to the full extent and they get their way and Brandon Soursby plays, it what you have to do.
Replace them with SMU. Get them the hell out of the car. If that [ __ ] happens, they're gone.
Get them out of here. They're poison.
At that point, they're cancer. Cut them out and get on with it.
If that's what they're going to do, cuz Mr. Kessler doesn't give a [ __ ] about the future of Texas Tech, and it sure as hell looks like Cody Campbell does it.
Because their future gets real grim if they get kicked out of the Big 12 because there's no other power league that's going to take them.
None.
And does Kessler not realize the Big 12 is an autonomous conference? What do you think that means, you prick?
It means they don't punish you because of the NCAA, they can go after you for whatever the hell reason.
Well, actually, it's not even for whatever the hell reason. Doing harm to the conference.
Or not adhering to the NCAA rules and regulations.
That's in the bylaws. And there's another bylaw.
With a super majority of the Big 12, which they have, they can rewrite the bylaws at any time they so choose. They could write in there the expulsion of a member and what it takes and fit Texas Tech right in there and launch their ass right out.
So, if you're asking me what needs to happen, Texas Tech needs to be threatened with you will not play this year.
You'll still receive your full media share in the summer of 2027 for this for this next year.
Even though you won't be playing, we're going to still pay you for that.
Now, if you want to sue for the home games because you didn't get the benefit from home games, we'll see you in court.
Because as far as we're concerned, we gave you every opportunity to preserve your home games and make your money.
Even though the conference has the legitimate right to hold all earnings, your payouts, they can reduce your payout, your share to $0.
All I'm saying is, you know what? We'll just go ahead and give it to you.
Your full share for 2027, but you ain't playing.
All right? You don't make your your $5 for a small soda in your concessions, well, that's your problem.
That's your effing problem.
Anyway, that's just an idea. That's what I think that should happen.
Folks, this is getting to be ridiculous.
And I'm sorry. I'm a Big 12 fan. The Big 12 is not in Oh, it's such a hard position. No, it's not. It's a real easy one. Texas Tech is making it real easy.
They want to fight. And you know, I used to admire Texas Tech, and I still do because they're fighters. The whole guns up thing, it's a real thing. They will fight you.
Ask the University of Texas. Ask Steve Sarkisian. They will fight you, and I love that about them.
But at some point in time, you got to put your logic hat on and realize these are your allies that you're fighting.
These are the people that's in the trench with you fighting everybody else in here outside of the Big 12. What are you doing?
This is the only house that wants you and that's willing to pay you and that's willing to put you up on a pedestal and push your brand and you're fighting them.
Cody Campbell's willing to burn it all to the ground.
Well, if it gets there, let it burn. Let it freaking burn.
Sorry, tech fans, but that's where we're at.
Anyway, thanks for watching this crap.
I'll be back with more crap later. Bye.
