Ukraine strikes Moscow oil refinery amid large-scale drone attack

[00:00:00]Ukraine says it's unleashed its largest drone attack on Russia. New video shows massive explosions and thick smoke pouring from an oil refinery just 10 miles from the Kremlin. Now the strike is raising new questions about Russia's ability to defend its own capital. ABC News James Longman has those details.

Well, key NATO allies have welcomed the deal to stop the war in Iran, but now Defense Secretary Pete Hoekstra has called those same allies shameful for not supporting the war more fully. It was considered a war of choice in Europe which did not meet the requirements for collective defense. And now Hoekstra has announced a review to examine the level of US support to NATO, but this is while the biggest threat to NATO, Russia's war on Ukraine, rages on.

[00:00:39]Ukraine hit Russia with one of the largest drone attacks of the year, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a wave of Ukrainian drones hit a major oil refinery there for the second time this week. Russia says its air defenses intercepted more than 500 drones across the country overnight, but debris still managed to hit that refinery. President Zelenskyy called this a fully justified attack after Russia unleashed ballistic missiles on Kyiv this week. He said this morning, "If Ukraine burns, Moscow burns." Dan.
