The video effectively exposes how partisan loyalty has replaced consistent logic, turning foreign policy into a mere tool for performative hypocrisy. It serves as a sharp reminder that for many elites, the merit of a deal is entirely dependent on who is making it.

Republican Congressman Goes BALLISTIC After News Host Exposes His Hypocrisy
Added:When you criticize the Biden administration for entering negotiations >> what I said. I don't think you listen to yourself reading it.
>> This is the only story that I'm doing about the Iran peace deal, the memorandum of understanding. This is the only Yesterday the whole show was that. I think it's really oversaturated.
But this moment struck me today and I want to share it with you.
Uh Mike Turner, Congressman Mike Turner, someone a intelligence veteran on the intelligence committee, understands uh global affairs certainly.
He must or he's just an absolute uh derelict in his duties and a complete fraud and a faker. I mean, that's possible, certainly possible. But you would think brushing up against these issues for decades that you'd have some acuity uh to in these matters.
>> [snorts] >> He was on Morning Joe being talked to by uh Stein, the Stein guy, the host, one of the hosts. It's like a a barrage of different people that host that show.
And uh is is being confronted, Mike Turner is being confronted with his past statements about the JCPOA. And it's already been talked about ad nauseam.
I've talked about it. Everybody's talking about it about how the difference between the deal the differences and similarities between the JCPOA and Donald Trump's 60-day version of this memorandum of understanding, where Donald Trump is giving Iran $300 billion, a third of a trillion dollars more than Obama did when we unfroze $400 million and then paid a measure of interest on that money that we had held since the 1970s. It totaled like 1.7 billion, not even $2 billion.
And Donald Trump criticized it, Republicans criticized it. It's the worst deal in the world. It's the worst deal in the We're going to get rich in Iran. We're going to stand them up as a power regionally. We're going to let them have a ballistic missiles. We're going to We're going to let them enrich uranium.
They all criticized all of that. And now Donald Trump's deal, they're like, "Yes, sir. THIS IS GREAT, SIR.
AND IT'S the same deal in many respects and a far worse deal in others because we are enriching the mullahs and the cleric class in Iran to the tune of a third of a trillion dollars.
We are removing all economic sanctions, all banking sanctions from them. We are ushering them back in to the world of the global economy.
And they're going to be able to have a ballistic missile program. Donald Trump is ensuring it.
It's only fair that they have that. A defensive capability. Which could be an offensive capability.
They need to be able to enrich uranium.
Even though months ago he's like, "Why do they need uranium? They have oil."
Why Why do they need a nuclear program?
They have oil.
But now, totally different. Well, if everybody else has it, they need it, too.
And Republicans, they're here for it for Donald Trump. They They They stand for it for Donald Trump. They make arguments for it for Donald Trump because they worship Donald Trump.
But when a a superior deal, an objectively superior deal, was made in 2015 with Barack Obama, a deal where no bombs were dropped, a 20-month structuring and a negotiation came to that deal that took away the nuclear program in Iran.
Donald Trump trashed it and then did his own thing. It's kind of like what he did with NAFTA and then made the the USMCA, which was just the same thing as NAFTA practically with a couple of changes. He just wants to trash everything that Obama does and make his own.
He wants to erase the contributions of Obama, the first black president, just like he's trying to erase the contributions of black people generally in this term.
In science, in our culture, in the military.
The contributions of black people in our history, removing slavery exhibits, exhibits about slavery in Philadelphia.
Removing the portraits of the first black four-star general in these United States.
And not replacing it with anybody, just leaving it a blank space.
Anti-black racism. That's But I'm now I'm far afield from where we're going to start. Like here's here's Mike Here's Mike Turner.
Crashing out, Mike Turner freaking out, flipping out, getting indignant at the end of this clip to the host that he would dare highlight the hypocrisy of this liar, of this Trump cult member, of this bootlicking sycophant, lapdog for Donald Trump.
It's a pretty beautiful moment toward the end here. Watch this.
>> Thanks, Sam. Sam Stein here. I'm going to read two things from my computer, so bear with me. This is the first from the JCPOA, the text, just so we're all on the same page here. This is Article 3, quote, "Iran reaffirms that under no circumstances will Iran ever seek, develop, or acquire any nuclear weapons." That's just to uh set the stakes that uh this was the exact language in the JCPOA. But the other thing I want to read is a uh statement you put out dated February 18th, 2021. This occurs in the context of the Biden administration deciding to restart negotiations with Iran after the Trump administration had pulled out of the JCPOA.
As you know, the Biden administration considered trying to reenter it. You said in the statement you said this, "The JCPOA is a significant flawed agreement where major provisions are set to expire, and the Biden administration should not reenter into negotiations with Iran without securing permanent prohibitions on Iran nuclear ambitions.
To be clear, they should not reenter into negotiations, which is what the Trump administration is doing right now, without Iran securing permanent prohibitions on nuclear ambitions. Do you consider Iran's pledge, which they made during the JCPOA, which you criticized, that they will not seek a nuclear weapon to be a permanent prohibition on their nuclear ambitions.
>> No, you just you just read that. You you just you just read that. The JCPOA had a 10-year termination. I mean, you read the agreement.
>> 60-day MOU.
Do you think that's more permanent? Do you think that's more permanent? Do you think that's more permanent?
>> Uh the the JCPOA terminated had an expiration provision. And there's significant difference between this agreement and what you're reading in the >> You're reading this is a 60-day agreement. This is a 60-day agreement.
>> This is an agreement to to have a negotiations for another agreement. The other thing that's different is midnight hammer happened.
>> That was what was happening in 2021 when you were criticizing the Biden administration.
>> allowed them to have the facilities that Trump just destroyed. Those facilities underground were going to continue to enrich, had never been fully inventory to buy the International Atomic Energy Agency. And the agreement that the the JCPOA had an expiration including the provision that you just read that said they would never have a nuclear a weapon had an expiration in it. This agreement this this memorandum of understanding is an agreement to go and have negotiations.
That's the difference.
>> Exactly, but that was in 2021 when you criticized the Biden administration for entering negotiations.
>> what I said. I don't think you listen to yourself reading it.
>> I'm literally reading the text.
>> All right, well, we'd Sam, thank you for that. Uh Congressman >> These dudes are so bold when they're on a TV set. It's like Scott Jennings when when Adam Mockler like got close to you.
Don't touch me. Don't touch you. You better not touch me. They all act like tough guys, but these are just abject weaklings. Just just just pussies.
Cuz they know I'm on camera. He's not going to reach across the table and choke the shit out of me.
>> [laughter] >> Scott Jennings included. But do you see how indignant he got when you're highlighting the laying bare the naked hypocrisy that's on display here.
And this isn't just partisan politics.
Absolutely without doubt, white supremacy and racism plays a role here.
Because mo- while Obama was being inaugurated within moments of him swearing in, the Republicans convened their little KKK group to stand firm against any accomplishment that that Barack Obama might make.
Being ushered in with a an astounding mandate electorally from the people.
Not a plurality that Donald Trump won by 1.4% or whatever. Barack Obama won handily over John McCain in 2008.
And they immediately set their attention to stopping him from achieving anything.
Mike Turner was a He's part of that.
Just like this. We're going to CRITICIZE THE BLACK GUY. AND when the dipshit white guy, the record-breaking stooge, the white guy, Donald Trump, when he does something that's obviously, self-evidently, clearly worse, we're going to say it's a triumph. And if YOU POINT IT OUT, I'M GOING TO GET PISSED OFF, SO DON'T. YOU BETTER NOT.
MIKE TURNER is weekly.
And not a dumb guy.
I mean, he acts like an asshole, but he's not a stupid man.
He's no genius, but he's got two brain cells to rub together, unlike the guy that he worships.
We're all unsafe because of this. We're all worse off because of this.
Partisanship you can expect in politics, for sure. But look, when Donald Trump does things, whether he's pressured to do them or does them out of his own volition, usually not, that are good, they're they're good. The First Step Act, I think that's what it's called, where they they they brought down mandatory minimum sentences for for for drug offenses and they released people from All of that was good thing.
He was pressured to do it, but still it got done.
If you do the right thing for the wrong reason, the right thing still gets done.
I had never criticized that. I criticized the fact that it's not in his heart, but it got done. Good thing.
Uh what else?
And that's all I can think of now cuz there's not a lot.
Cuz Donald Trump instinctively does the wrong fucking thing all the time. It's in his DNA to make the wrong choice.
I mean, 99 out of 100 times if Donald Trump comes to a fork in the road and one leads to paradise and the other leads to a burning fire, he's choosing the burning fire route cuz he's stupid.
Instinctively, he doesn't have it together. Instinctively, he's always thinking about himself and that's always going to lead to peril. Anyway, what do you think?
Mike Turner, I guess, you know, to put it crassly, you can mute right now before I say what I'm getting ready to say. Mike Turner could fuck straight off all the way to the moon. He can take Donald Trump with him. We don't need any more of this at all. We need earnest leaders in this moment. If the world is as dangerous and as precarious as they would like to have us think, we need serious, sober-minded, dispassionate leaders in this moment.
Mike Turner ain't it.
Donald Trump certainly ain't it. The Republican Party is bereft of talent in this regard.
Anyway, I'd love to know what you think about this.
Shower me with your dissent if you disagree or with your praise if you do not.
All of those things are fine. They're fine. It's fine.
>> [laughter] >> Anyway, I hope you have a happy Friday.
Britney Page I are going to be in New Orleans over the weekend. I'll be back on two Monday, Tuesday. We have a a slate of shows, all of the stuff that's going to be happening. And if something breaks, I will certainly have my iPhone with me and be able to chime in from the road. Maybe drink in hand. Anyway, I love and appreciate you very much. Thank you for joining me today and every single day. You guys mean the world to me. It's not something that's just said.
It is talked about in this household a lot. How much how lucky we are and how much we appreciate you guys.
I'll see you next time. Until then, be genuine and take care of one another.
